"I hired Randy’s to fix a recurring electrical issue that was cutting power to the upper floor of my home, and to install two new circuits, work completed over two visits about a week apart. The new circuits seem to work fine, but the original issue persists—despite spending over $5,000, including $1,000+ on diagnostics. The electrician spent about 45 minutes on the initial assessment, then replaced some wiring and breakers. The problem reoccurred before the second visit, which I reported by phone, but he was unaware of it when he arrived. He did minimal follow-up, blamed CFL bulbs, and later suggested the issue might be with outlet or switch connections—something I believe should have been checked from the start. The issue has since returned again, and after three follow-up calls in three days, I’ve received no response. On the positive side, the crew was professional, worked in a difficult attic space, and cleaned up well. Still, I expected better troubleshooting, communication, and post-service support for what I paid."

Drain cleaning is part of maintaining a plumbing system. It is a craft different than installing and repairing plumbing but it is just as important to do it correctly. The other values in McDonough’s services are several having the equipment and personnel trained and available is paramount to this no matter how big a job has gotten they have never stopped until it was completed! The other feature that is not fully understood by many is that it is always best to use someone that has only one purpose in mind and that is to get the drain cleaned and inspected and has no reason to up sell you on some repairs or replacement that you don’t need. That why we use them as a plumbing company and recommend them to our valued clients. "I do not recommend this company due to poor quality of product. - Jan 2023 bought 2 patio doors, 3 slider windows. Product that was installed in May included 2 cracked slider windows and all products had wrong color on interior. All needed to be replaced. - May 2023 bought additional 19 windows. After install in Oct 2023, 13 of the 19 had noted manufacturing defects requiring replacement in January 2024. After install of these replacements in January 2024, additional 7 had noted manufacturing defects requiring replacement in April 2024. At install of these latest replacements, 5 more had noted manufacturing defects requirement replacement (which has not yet happened) - June 2024 during rainstorm noted two of the window sets had significant water leaks. Company was advised with documentation on 6.4.2024; as of today 6.8.2024 company has yet to acknowledge my request for refund so I can re-replace the windows with a different company. Additionally several of the caulk lines were obviously done by a new employee, as I had to have the contractor installing new siding re-do those lines."
