"My father-in-law came over on Sunday night and attempted to patch the leak with plumbers putty and duct tape. We turned off the water to the house just in case. I called early Monday morning to make an appointment, and was told they couldn't come until Tuesday morning. But early Monday afternoon they called back and said they'd had a cancellation and could come between 2 and 4 pm. The plumber called shortly after and said he could meet me at the house in 15 minutes and was there on the dot. He replaced a section of pipe and showed me the bad one and suggested causes for the leak, if I wanted to submit this to insurance. The whole job was done in 45 minutes, and I am very pleased with the work and the experience. There was no attempt to sell more than was needed, and I didn't feel intimidated or conned in any way.
