"Jeff and his crew did a fantastic job removing trees, weeds and asphalt from the back of my home’s lot. It had been an eyesore for many years, but within hours, the area was cleared, leveled, covered in plastic and then dirt for future planting or mulching. We called 4 different contractors, John from Don Green's Dirt Service was the only one that called us back. He came out within the week and gave us a quote. It took time trying to discuss with 10 people. John stopped out for a second time and gave us 3 different options as price was a concern. Once we all agreed on price/work, John and his team were able to come out the next week and complete work. A few of us watched the whole process. You could tell how efficient they were as doing this many times. Work was completed in 1 day and for quote amount. There was extra gravel used but John did not charge us any extra. The road looks great and concerns were fixed. John and his team took the time to walk us thru the project and inspect before payment. They did such a great job on this we are having them back in the spring to clear part of our land.

"The workers on site were wonderful -- we were very happy with the work as it was being performed, and they were very careful with surrounding area (drive, sidewalk, lawn) and did an excellent job overall. They were friendly and very respectful of us and our home/yard - a joy to have around.
My dissatisfaction was with the level of responsiveness I received from the owner after accepting his bid and sending a deposit check in (up until the deposit was sent, he was very quick to give a bid, explain the process, and return calls to answer questions).
After being told that the landscape crew was "a few weeks out" it took about 6 weeks for the job to happen, and that was after several calls to the owner to get an update on status. I understand that other projects ahead of mine may fall behind schedule or go beyond scope, however I was never updated on timing at all and was left wondering if he even received the paperwork with the deposit check. The only proactive note I received from him was the email on Friday at 5p indicating that the crew can start Monday morning, and 'will someone be there that morning'.
Upon project completion, my husband inadvertently gave payment in full, per the invoice, to the lead worker at the site (not factoring in the deposit check I sent in 6 weeks earlier to secure the bid). After immediately contacting the owner to let him know about the mistake, I asked him not to cash the check. I received no reply, and 3 weeks later the check was cashed. Now I need to go thru the hassle of trying to get that deposit money refunded. While the work performed was wonderful, the business management and
customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Everyone was so polite, knowledgable and hard workers!
A real pleasure to have at our home.
It was a difficult job because most of the plantings they removed were overgrown.
It was jungle.
The end result was just beautiful.
Josh was very helpful and did not mind when I changed things around la bit.
They even made time to mulch another area for me.
I would highly recommend them!
I hope to have them back next year to work on another area on the yard.

"Austin and his crew did a good job on our project. They resloped our front yard, put in new sod, and removed old rail road ties in our window well and replaced them with retaining wall pavers. He wasn't the cheapest bid, but he had good reviews and was communicative, and we're happy we went with his company. He was professional and got the job done quickly. "Fairly large project - clearing a large planting area of weeds and old growth, then adding topsoil and tilling it in - preparing for the transplant of over 100 hosta plants. This plant bed was located on an inconvenient, uphill lot. Large, organized crew completed the job efficiently. They were flexible too, and took care of our last minute directions / changes. Good communication throughout, and efficient bookeeping. I highly recommend GM Outdoor Services!"
