"As a person in the plumbing trades both new construction and service work I have come to appreciate the skills of someone who does a craft full time and is encouraged to develop skills to make it “their” full time occupation and career. Drain cleaning is part of maintaining a plumbing system. It is a craft different than installing and repairing plumbing but it is just as important to do it correctly. The other values in McDonough’s services are several having the equipment and personnel trained and available is paramount to this no matter how big a job has gotten they have never stopped until it was completed! The other feature that is not fully understood by many is that it is always best to use someone that has only one purpose in mind and that is to get the drain cleaned and inspected and has no reason to up sell you on some repairs or replacement that you don’t need. "There were two options; trim trees and have the trimmings removed or have the trees trimmed and left for a much lower fee. We opted for the second option and have been cleaning up our yard for a month but we were also happy to keep the firewood. Our original quote was inaccurate as they found we needed more trimming than originally ally estimated. As a result we agreed to a higher cost as the work was being finished. They did an excellent job and it was amazing to watch as they trimmed trees away from our property buildings with extreme care and accuracy. They truly did a great job in caring for all of our property and in the end the extra cost was worth it. Highly recommended!"
