"I spent $3000 of 6 maple blaze trees to be delivered and planted. first issue was with a tree that was bent/rounded over severely to the side. Tims reply "you picked it out, not my problem". true, they have you pick your own trees so they can blame you for any issues, instead of them, the professionals. second issue is, of the 6, i have been able to remove the stakes on 1 of them.......3 years later!!!!! after doing some research i believe it's because they didn't "scarify" or free up the roots before planting. they left them in a ball. and then the guy dug the hole inches bigger than the root ball, which 1 minute of research on google says the hole should be twice the size of the root ball to ensure good growth. this place is the walmart of nurseries, they are cheap and there is a reason for that. AVOID."

It's easy to misidentify trees that appear to be maple trees due to similarities in leaf shapes. Sweetgum, sycamore, and yellow poplar all have leaf shapes and appearances similar to maples. No, you don’t need a pruning seal for trees post-trim. It may not be worth it to rake every leaf in your yard, but it’s necessary to remove the majority of leaves to prevent them from smothering grass growth on your lawn. However, raking leaves isn’t your only option for leaf removal. You can remove leaves easily with a leaf blower or compost or mulch them with your lawn mower to repurpose them to help grow your garden or yard.

However, it's important to ensure you do not damage the overall health of the tree in the process. Removing branches incorrectly can jeopardize the health of the tree and could lead to you being on the hook to replace it.

Cutting down a tree next to power lines is never a DIY job, and it’s a good idea to contact your utility company first. In most cases, the utility company will need to take care of any tree problems within 10 to 15 feet of power lines. If you want to remove the tree for aesthetic reasons, hire a pro to do the job. Trying to cut trees near power lines yourself can create many safety hazards, and you could be liable if you inadvertently cause damage to electrical equipment.
