Chuck's Construction Co.We contacted Chuck to remove a brick patio that had problems and replace it with a Trex deck plus benches. The cost of the deck included removing a large stump in the way of expanding the deck and also we had two large yew bushes removed. The size of the deck is 485 square feet and used Trex Transcend decking. They added two sets of stairs off the deck to the backyard. The entire process went smoothly from the initial scheduling to meet till it’s completion. Good communication either through phone calls, text or emails. We were given several options on materials available and prices for several sizes of deck. Chuck also suggested items such as railings which were a wonderful addition to our ideas. The crew were friendly and efficient. All construction work was cleaned up. Our deck was finished in less than a week. We were very happy with the results. Superior Home Building LLCJerrod Thomason, the owner of Superior Home Building, did a complete remodel of our house including a new addition. He did the work while we spent the winter in FL. I contacted him based on the outstanding reviews on Angie's list. We did not meet him until the job was well under way. Everything was done by phone, email, and FaceTime. We couldn't have been more pleased with the result. I would recommend Jerod for any job. He was outstanding!! Our job included: new roof, new siding, new gutters & down spouts, replace all windows, new flooring, new lighting and electrical, new plumbing, seal walls and waterproof basement, paint every room and ceiling in the house. Also a complete remodel of the kitchen, bathroom, utility room, closets, and an addition which included a large new bathroom, walk-in closet and storage area. MICHIGAN KITCHEN DISTRIBUTORSfirst off worst experience ever still in a legal battle which they claim they didnt do zero customer help or call backs they miscut my counter tops that i waited 8 weeks for but then tried to install them they dented my diahwasher and fridge scratched and chipped my pantry cause the counter top was to big due to the miscut they dropped the other counter top on the floor wich hit my fridge and scratched it i had to wait another 10 weeks for home depot to send a new company out to put my new counter top in stay far away from this company cause they literally treat costumers like numbers i will see you guys in court- Kodi H.

After his hour and a half spiel and after it came down to the end, I said I needed to get a price. He gave me a price without a broken down estimate with details. I asked him for a written estimate and he said it would be $1000 and non refundable. I told him he needed to go then. For some reason, my request went through the system and he contacted me again asking why I reached out again. I told him I would never ask for him to come out again and we went on our ways.

They did a good job, but their customer service is TERRIBLE. We paid 50% down in August of 2019 for work to begin in November 2019. I *had* to call asking when they would be out only to be told that they are down a crew and would not be out until March 2020. March 2020 comes, I *had* to call again to see when they would be out, end of March. Then Coved hit. I *had* to call again to see when they would be out. The job was finally completed in July 2020, almost a year after they took my money.

We purchased quartz countertops from them in 2019. This was the first time we purchased countertops and I will NEVER go back here. When I told the installers I saw imperfections they treated me like I was "seeing" things. That was not a good sign. Shortly after a year, the warranty period of course, the seams began looking VERY noticeable and the finish started to dull, even though I followed the cleaning instructions given by the installers. After 2 years, there's a crack starting from one of the corners! When I called they just gave me numbers of companies that provide maintenance for stone countertops, maintenance that quartz wasn't supposed to need! They don't stand behind their products. Customer service is awful. It took WEEKS to even get a call back. Very disappointing after spending a considerable amount of money. Countertops are an investment. Don't waste your investment with Great Lakes Granite & Marble.
