"Critical: Professionalism, Value I called Omega to check out smoke transfer between flues. Al quoted flue top dampers at $900 each and cleanings at $300 each. He said he would need to schedule a day to do the work. Thinking this must be an extensive project, I bought it. Ten days later I finally was called to say they would come that afternoon to do it. After the cleaning they glued dampers to the tops of the flues and were done in about 45 minutes. Al defended his $750/hour labor rate and double cleaning rate, saying it was due to his "high overhead" costs that I didn't understand. I still don't understand. Omega Construction is aptly named, they are the last one you should think of calling. They apparently only maintain their good BBB rating because the BBB doesn't consider "pricing issues" or "buyer's remorse" in their calculations. BBB is basically another way to advertise."

"I was impressed with this company from The first time they came out to quote the job because I was immediately handed a folder that contained their license and proof of insurance. I accepted the bid and, while we got off to a few false starts, the work was completed in April 2025. The crew that came out was professional, efficient, and very respectful of my property. The chimney and tuck point repair work that they completed was professionally done and you could tell that they took great pride in Their work from the pictures that they showed me of the completed job. "Starting on September 11 removed old driveway put in crushed concrete rolled it on September 12 came back put in more crushed concrete, which wasn’t in the contract I had to pay extra money for poured asphalt rolled it with a roller sealed coated the driveway got over spray on my garage on the vinyl siding charged me $1,500.00 for the extra crushed concrete and the sealant of the driveway, which wasn’t in the contract got sealant my grass left crushed concrete in the grass along the side of the driveway the truck was leaking got diesel fuel or oil on my Street and then they left and when it rained, I had puddles of water in my new driveway because the driveway is not level it is in the middle of the driveway which caused water to puddle up leave big puddles of standing water I contacted him. They said they would come out. They never did come out and then other times I contacted them. They just never returned, text or calls"
