Hi, I’m Mrs. Michael, and when you need something repaired, We wanna be your guy. Back when I was raising two babies, my husband and I started a plumbing company, an electrical company, AND a heating and air company. Mr. Michael is a genius with tools, but he did NOT enjoy running 3 big companies, so he asked me to do it. Turns out, I LOVE it!! I believe that if we make your problems disappear quick and easy, then when someone you know needs something repaired you’ll say: “I’ve got a guy! . . . Her name is Mrs. Michael.”

"I called Mrs.Michael plumbing and electrician on a Sunday and was told the service call would cost $129. However, I wasn?t informed that the $129 only covered the technician?s arrival. Once on-site, I was told diagnosing the issue would be an additional $450 ? and that price only covered two outlets, with anything else costing extra. I?ve rented homes for over 30 years, and I?ve never encountered such misleading pricing practices."

There are several signs that your house might have poor ventilation, including lingering odors, condensation on your windows, or mold and mildew. Your home may also feel stale and stuffy, or you might have trouble maintaining a comfortable temperature in your home. Blower door tests are measured in a few different ways, but the most popular are air changes per hour (ACH) and cubic feet of air (CFM) moving through the house per hour. A good ACH score is less than 2ACH, but 1ACH is better. This means the house experiences a total air change within 60 minutes (for 1ACH). For 2ACH, there’s a complete change every 30 minutes, and so on. CFM scores are similar in that a lower score means less air change, and therefore less leakage.

Depending on property size and audit scope, costs range from $200 to $600.

A home energy audit costs about $420 on average, ranging from about $100 to $2,250 or more. Cost factors include the size of your home, the type of testing, and the thoroughness of the audit. A Level 1 walk-through inspection will cost between $150 and $200 for the auditor to point out inefficiencies in your home. On the other hand, a more thorough Level 3 audit with testing and a detailed report will cost about $900.
