"Bret came out, explained our options and gave us an estimate. Greg and James were very quick, clean and professional. They explained what they going to do and did an excellent job. I wish I would have called them and had it done a lot sooner. I highly recommend their company."

"I couldn't be more impressed with the work done by Martin and his crew on replacing the broken slabs in my driveway. From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and thorough. The crew arrived on time, carefully removed the damaged concrete, and poured fresh, smooth slabs that blend perfectly with the rest of the driveway. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and the final result looks fantastic! I'd highly recommend them to anyone in need of concrete services—truly top-notch craftsmanship!"

"Outstanding Help With Basement Water Leak Erik came to our home to evaluate a water leak that was coming through the concrete wall in our basement, and he was absolutely fantastic. He took the time to clearly explain the root cause of the problem and walked us through the proper repair options in a way that was easy to understand. What I appreciated most was his honesty and professionalism. He didn’t try to oversell anything — instead, he focused on educating us so we could make the right decision. His knowledge of basement foundations and water intrusion issues is impressive, and his recommendations gave us real confidence moving forward with the repair. If you’re dealing with any kind of basement water problem, I highly recommend Erik. It’s rare to find someone who is both highly skilled and genuinely helpful."

"Excellent! The concrete cutting crew on the second installation did not place floor protection on the entire path and I had to clean up a lot of mud in my gym. That was a small inconvenience that could have been easily avoided, but the system and the workmanship are excellent"

"Great work by team. Made contact 2 months before job began. Worked out a scheduled date range with the team at that time. The 3 person crew came in, started the digging and frame of the driveway on a saturday morning. They were done about 1 pm (70 ft long, 3 ft wide). On Monday morning the concrete laying crew came in. Poured the concrete, leveled it out and were done in a few hours. About 2 weeks later, came n again and used tar to fill in the cracks in a few areas between “sections” of concrete. Great job with the team, communication and execution."

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

For concrete leveling in MI, using inferior materials is a critical error, as they will fail in the state's freeze-thaw cycles. Incorrect injection hole spacing can also lead to uneven lifting or future settling. Furthermore, failing to account for proper drainage in Troy's clay soil can cause the problem to return, making professional precision essential for a lasting repair that withstands Michigan weather.

Helpful?

When hiring a pro in Troy, verify they have experience with the area's specific clay soil conditions and offer both polyurethane and mudjacking methods. A reputable contractor should provide proof of general liability insurance and offer a minimum two-year warranty on their workmanship. It is also important to ask for local Troy references to confirm their quality of work and service.

Helpful?

To ensure safety during a concrete leveling project in Troy, establish clear barriers around the work zone and keep pets indoors. Most projects finish in just two to four hours, minimizing disruption. Afterward, mark the repaired area and wait 24 to 48 hours before allowing full foot traffic, as the material needs time to cure completely, especially in colder Troy weather.

Helpful?

The best time for concrete leveling in Troy is from April to October when the ground is stable. You should schedule work immediately if you notice serious trip hazards or water pooling against your foundation. Addressing even minor settling before winter arrives is a smart move, as it prevents water from getting into cracks and causing more damage during a freeze.

Helpful?

In Troy, concrete leveling is the right solution for slabs that have sunk one to four inches, creating trip hazards or causing water to pool. However, if you see large cracks wider than a quarter-inch, severely crumbling surfaces, or settlement over four inches, a full concrete replacement is necessary. Due to Troy's clay soil, it's wise to get a professional assessment for any structural concerns.
