"Jaime is absolutely wonderful! I promise you will not be disappointed. The things he cleaned I never thought could ever be that clean again; I have 8 cats and 4 dogs. Everything is so beautiful and clean it almost makes you not want to touch anything lol. He’s also very reasonable. My teenage daughter had makeup all over her bathroom walls and sink, Jaime has that bathroom looking spick and span even my daughter said “wow.” Anyways Apex has been nothing but a delight to work with; it was such a wonderful experience."

The white nozzle is your best choice for power washing indoors. The white nozzle, or the 40-degree nozzle, comes with a pressure even lower than the standard green nozzle but still has enough force to clean the surface. It works great for painted and wooden surfaces. It also doesn’t damage more delicate materials like ceramic or tiles. However, avoid pressure washing delicate furniture, caulking, and other surfaces that require more tendered touches than regular surfaces.

You can get more pressure out of your pressure washer by adjusting the pressure control knob clockwise to increase pressure (+). You can also check your nozzle for debris and clogs and remove anything you find with needle nose pliers. Switch to a nozzle with a lower-degree spray angle or a turbo nozzle to achieve more pressure at the tip. Check for leaks in the hose and connections, and make sure your water supply is offering enough pressure. 

We don’t recommend pressuring washing clapboard siding. At high levels of pressure, a pressure washer can damage wood siding permanently. Pressure washing can also make it easier to drive water into the cracks of clapboard (which are recommended for easier drainage), causing moisture damage.

If you think your clapboard siding is so dirty it could benefit from pressure washing, we suggest contacting a pressure wash cleaning service and getting a quote on a wood siding project. Some siding manufacturers recommend never pressure washing because it can force water behind the siding.

It may be necessary to power wash your house, depending on the siding material. Vinyl, composite, or metal siding can hold up to the heat and pressure of occasional power washing, but materials like brick, stucco, wood, and painted materials may get damaged from the high-pressure water. For sensitive materials, consider a soft wash instead of a pressure wash.
