"Overall great experience with this company. They refinished hardwood floors on a historic building of ours. The job was done in the timeframe provided, price was right and communication was great. We are so happy with the floors, they turned out even better than we expected. Definitely would highly recommend!"

"Doug is very professional. He did a great job at power-washing , sanding , staining and sealing our new deck. His price was below other companies. He arrived when he said he would and stayed until the job was finished. He knows the business. He asked in advance , of the type of stain we were using and then offered other options. He was able to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend Doug and Pro Home Services."

"They were awesome! We are beginning the process of moving, and I wanted someone else to come through and do a deep clean before we listed. Krystal Klear was very communicative, punctual, and they did a phenomenal job! I would recommend them in a heartbeat."

Buffing and Polishing questions, answered by experts

It depends on the material. Sandstone, slate, and granite can be slippery in wet weather. Applying a sealant to the stone can often stop it from absorbing moisture and may reduce the likelihood of slipping. If you're concerned about losing footing, a safer option might be bluestone or concrete.

Silestone® is a low-maintenance countertop material, but certain things, like strong chemicals and solvents, can cause damage. Abrasive scrubs can cause scratches, and products that contain oil or powder can leave a residue. Finally, avoid letting oven cleaner come into contact with Silestone® because it can cause discoloration.

To remove cloudiness from marble, use equal parts baking soda and water to form a paste. Apply it to the surface, allow it to sit for at least two hours, then wipe with a microfiber cloth. Another option is adding a couple of dish soap drops to warm water and wiping the surface after you’ve applied it to the surface. You may also consider using a liquid stone cleaner.

Avoid using abrasive cleansing powders on natural stone, as these products could damage the porous material. Using bleach is also a poor idea because of the porosity of the stone. Avoid using a scrub brush with metal bristles, as they could scratch the stone. If you know who manufactured your stone or who installed the fireplace, you may want to contact that entity for any advice on cleaning it safely.

Due to soapstone's non-porous nature and antimicrobial properties, you don’t need to seal it like other stone materials like marble or granite. However, even though sealing isn't required, it can enhance soapstone's natural stain resistance. Another protective option is to apply mineral oil once per month.
