"Ohhhh Myyyy Goshhh! This Company did a Fantastic job with trimming/ Purging our old trees/branches! They even cut the one with low-hanging branches over our driveway! They did Outstanding work cutting and trimming the thick hanging tree branches over our shed and behind it. We can now actually walk a complete circle around it. WoW! They trimmed away the branches & debris on the narrow passage side on the north side of our house which has always been difficult to clear away, what a pleasant surprise! The cut down that bothersome chimney tree, Yay! Ohhhh Myyyy Goshhh! They did a Magnificent job trimming and leveling off the shrubbery in the front of the house, very well manicured!! Our family cannot wait to tell others in our community block club about "Quinones" excellent work!? Oh, and they are reasonably priced! Thank you!"

"We had a grove full of dead trees falling over in between healthier trees and thick brush. looked like death. it was a huge job. Jeremy and his crew were the most kindest, understood my concern of animals maybe in there and hardworking. They take pride in their work. Now we have an accessible, beautiful space we can walk around in and good trees can breathe. Recommend them highly and would use them again for our other acreage. It's improved the look of our property 100%!! Thank you all!"

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

A land survey includes the layout of a single property, including precise measurements and to-scale drawings of boundary lines, land improvements, and sometimes other features, like topography and drainage information. A plat map includes the layouts and boundary lines of several adjacent plots and basic structure measurements. Surveys are normally more valuable for homeowners and buyers, and plat maps are for governmental use.

If you’re planning to dig on your property, you’ll need to check for underground utility lines. Call the national call-before-you-dig 811 number. Once connected to an operator, you can schedule a site visit to mark underground lines. This way, you won’t accidentally dig into pipes and can cause major (read: costly) issues.

You will find a collection of licensed land surveyors in your area. Your real estate agent or construction manager may also be able to recommend a trusted professional. When speaking with prospective pros in your area, ask the land surveyor if they are licensed in the state, have liability insurance, and can quote you a fee before starting.

The small lines on the tape measure either indicate inches, fractions of an inch, or centimeters and millimeters. On the imperial unit side (aka the inches side), the longest lines indicate inches, followed by the next shortest lines that indicate a half-inch, and then the quarter, eighth, and sixteenth-inch. On the metric side, the lines break down meters, centimeters, and millimeters.

Professional well contractors may use electromagnetic mapping to look for places with a high likelihood of water. Water access can vary significantly, even on the same property, so it can be difficult to know where to drill if you don’t have specialized tools to look for water.
