"considering all circumstances things went well with hiring bonillas, we are a young couple just starting out & they gave us a price we couldnt pass up. they drywalled & finished 5 major rooms to the fixer upper we bought. mary was extremely patient & helpful on explaining the process & the obstacles we faced throughout the job they were doing. we plan to use them again for the garage & other parts of the house we plan to finish later down the road."

"We are completely satisfied with the work Randy Palgen did for us, installing two very high ceiling fans, repairing our kitchen cabinets, solving both an electrical and a plumbing problem, and repairing and caulking the window trim On the outside of our house. "Working with Scott has been the most positive experience I have had in my 50+ years of home ownership. He not only installed exterior siding on our current home, he and his most competent daughter painted the inside of our house in such a thorough, careful manner. The work he has done for us is extraordinary. His businesslike, yet friendly relationship with us made completion of the projects a pleasure. He was prompt and reliable in every way. He let us know in advance of work he could not do and helped us find solutions. To top it off his prices are most reasonable for the high quality of work and the high quality of products he uses. I only hope he remains in business as long as I am a home owner. He is out "go to guy" from now on."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

You should wait at least 24 hours for drywall mud to dry before sanding or applying another coat. However, the exact drying time depends on several factors, including the thickness of the application, room temperature, humidity, and the type of compound used. Thicker layers, or projects in high humidity, may require 48 hours or more. Lightweight compounds tend to dry faster than heavier, all-purpose ones. You'll know the mud is ready when it feels completely dry and firm to the touch and has changed to a consistent light color. Sanding too early can cause smudging or gouges, so patience is essential for a smooth finish.

Options include bricks, natural stone, and concrete blocks. Choose based on durability, aesthetics, and budget.

Ceiling-mounted curtains won’t damage the ceiling if they’re installed properly. Using the right anchors or securing the brackets into joists will ensure the curtain weight is properly supported and prevent damage. However, overtightening screws, using weak anchors, or repeatedly removing and reinstalling hardware in the same spot can cause cracking or sagging over time. In that case, you might have to call a pro for ceiling repair.

Yes, drywall can hold a 50-pound TV. However, when mounting a TV, you’ll either need to attach it to wall studs or use drywall anchors. If you use anchors, make sure to buy a type that can hold at least 50 pounds. Molly bolts, threaded anchors, and toggle bolts are all good options. For extra support, you can also install a wall mounting plate with the anchors.

Costs depend on labor, material quality, wall preparation, and finishing requirements.
