I can do any type of work, electrical, plumbing, construction, appliance repair, appliance installation, ceiling fan installation, hang any size television, anywhere, pretty much, any kind of work what I try to do is keep my jobs to one day work try to avoid anything that ties me up for more than a couple days because I have so much work to do. I don’t like to put anybody off if you call and need something done usually, I can do it same day. "Nick responded quickly, was very professional, knowledgeable and proficient. After our plumber removed the kitchen faucet we found the counter holes were smaller than standard size and the new faucet wouldn't fit. We needed new holes drilled fast. I had used Home Advisor in the past so I started there. InEx Stone was the first company to respond. Nick wanted to help us so he fit us in before his early morning appointment. He discussed the issues and options with us and quickly cut the holes with a diamond drill. The faucet aligned perfectly in the revised hole size and location, which was a tight fit in front of a window handle. We highly recommend this company. They are eager to help people."

"After trying a repair myself on our countertop (it cracked in front of kitchen sink) I found this company and Diego Garcia and gave him a call. He was polite, professional and accommodating. He was able to make our countertop look nice again. Great job! I would definitely recommend Diego for any and all granite/marble work. If we decide to replace our countertops we will be calling him again. Thanks!"

Stone Countertops questions, answered by experts

The timeline to install countertops largely depends on the materials and the job size. Installing granite countertops takes anywhere from two to seven hours, though complex designs can pass the eight hour mark. Average-sized quartz countertops take two to five hours to install, though most pros will recommend a 24-hour settling period. Marble, on the other hand, is finicky and can take up to two whole days to install. No matter how you slice it, however, a professional is going to complete the job much quicker than an amateur.

Caesarstone® offers both quartz and porcelain counters, which are types of engineered stone countertops. Generally, you can expect to pay $50 to $200 per square foot for quartz countertops. If you decide to go with Caesarstone® quartz counters, then you’ll pay $75 to $125 per square foot, which is in the mid-range of what most quartz manufacturers charge.

Additionally, Caesarstone® is typically less expensive than quartzite, which is a natural quartz countertop that costs $80 to $220 per square foot. Depending on the Caesarstone® countertop you choose, you may spend significantly more on quartzite counters.

Yes, installing new quartz countertops can increase your home’s value. Updating your counters with a durable material like quartz that will last decades is a great investment.

The angle at which you cut countertops depends on the material, your intended outcome, and the location of the cut. For example, rather than cutting a straight 90-degree angle for internal corners, cut edges at a 45-degree angle to give a clean, professional look. For outside edges, most homeowners want squared-off sides, so 90-degree angles can make the most sense there. Because you want to get angles exactly right to minimize seams and eliminate the need for patching, be sure to measure several times before cutting and use the right equipment to get sharp, accurate angles.

Yes, Corian® and other solid surface materials can be cut with standard woodworking tools, such as a circular saw or a jigsaw. However, it is crucial to use the correct type of blade to avoid damaging the material.

For a circular saw, a tungsten carbide-tipped blade is required; a triple chip grind blade is highly recommended. For a jigsaw, you should use a fine-tooth down-cutting blade. Do not use blades designed for cutting wood, as they can cause microfractures that weaken the edges of the countertop. A diamond blade is also unnecessary, as those are designed for harder materials like natural stone, which Corian is not.

After cutting, the edge will be rough. It is essential to sand and smooth the cut edge to prevent microfractures, which can eventually compromise the integrity of the countertop.
