Installing a dishwasher should take one to four hours, depending on the complexity of the installation and whether you DIY or hire a pro. On the other hand, a professional can likely install a dishwasher in about an hour. Installation time will take longer if you have to remove an existing dishwasher, reroute plumbing, or repair damaged flooring underneath the appliance.
