"We hired R and D Drywall to complete drywall and painting for bathrooms, hallways, and one bedroom. Shawn was prompt in quoting and inspecting after completion. DJ, Justin & Paul did a great job and were very thorough. They put everything back in order and cleaned up completely. We will definitely hire again we've already asked Shawn for another quote on a different area in the house."

"Asked about an unsightly crack in my ceiling, after sending pictures have me an estimate for the job. I saw he was new but decided to give him a chance. After the test crack I ask him to fix a larger issue in the kitchen. Not only did he knock it out of the park but even the wife is happy with it LOL. Will only be coming to PCHC from now on!"

"They did a great job frame walls drywall installation&finished all drywall smooth and installed acess panel in ceiling I gave them the key to building and they were trusted with coming and going everything they said they was going to do they did and more with a very reasonable price I highly recommend them for anything that you are trying to do that they can help you with"

If you’re working in a highly visible area and want the best possible finish, hiring a professional drywaller is worth the cost. Pros have the tools and know-how to ensure a smooth surface with fewer sanding sessions and less cleanup.

It’s highly recommended to use studs for a TV mount. The last thing you want is to be watching your favorite show when the TV falls off the wall. However, since studs are not present everywhere in a wall, you will need to use drywall anchors if you are hanging an object in a location without a stud. For very lightweight items, picture hanging strips can also be a suitable alternative.

You can plaster over regular drywall, but it's essential to prepare the surface properly. Before plastering, the drywall should be clean, free of dust, and any loose or peeling paint should be removed. Applying a primer specifically designed for plastering can improve adhesion. Some professionals recommend applying a base coat of plaster or joint compound to create a better surface for the plaster to adhere to. Proper preparation ensures a smooth and durable plaster finish over regular drywall.

New plaster must be fully dry and cured before painting. The drying time for plaster ranges from 1 to 4 hours, but the curing process can take more than five days, depending on various factors, including humidity levels, temperature, the amount of plaster used, and airflow in the area. You should always apply primer before painting plaster.
