Mike worked efficiently completing the demolition of the previous stairs and railing in one day. He identified and corrected structural deficiencies from the previous construction and completed the remodel and finish work within the time he originally stated it would take to complete the job. He was even able to stay on-budget with the exception of the additional repairs identified during demolition. Even then, he discussed any changes early and found effective solutions that didn’t significantly increase the cost of completing the work. "Nyboer builders did a great job with this project.  They took a bit longer than expected to complete the project,  but only a couple of weeks past the estimate and weather did play a part for some of the delay.  The quality of the work was excellent.  The roofing crew were all very friendly and very responsive to questions or small requests.    The job supervisor was especially professional and courteous.   I would highly recommend Nyboer builders to anyone.  I hope to use them again in the future for some remodeling work.

Our understanding was that there would be a comprehensive survey and report on the home.  The reality was that the company was focused on primarily energy conservation and doing work to make the home more efficient in that regard.  They took readings and checked airflow but never really identified specifically where the problem areas were or any of the readings they took.

In the end there was no "report" only a detailed quote for the list of work they suggested be done.  Based on the cost and the very long payback period based on their projection of utility savings we elected not to go forward with their services. 

The staff was responsive and was conscientious about follow up and scheduling but I really did not need three visits to accomplish what was done.
