She knows how to combine different plants so that there is color and contrast throughout the year. She has suggested both bigger projects and more modest adjustments I could make to improve my property, allowing me to decide based on my objectives at the time. She has done an excellent job on both Spring and Fall cleanups and touch ups in between. Most recently, she worked on my property as I was preparing to put my home up for sale. She did a wonderful job and I have received many positive comments about my beautiful landscaping from people viewing my home. Jackie and her team are a pleasure to work with!!! I mean, I had them install lights for me and of course it was during the day so I couldn t see the amazing magnitude of the excellent work that Nicolas and his crew had done; but let me tell you when it got dark and those lights came on I cannot even express to you how beautiful it is it s like a fairy land. "I hired MAC Landscaping & Design in May 2020 to install a French Drain and subsequent regrading for the backyard. My neighbor told me this would be a waste of money as â environmental engineers,â â city officials,â and â multiple companiesâ she contacted said the pooling of water couldnâ t be fixed. Mike came to my home, took detailed measurements, and told me (with confidence) he could give me a dry backyard. One year later, after the snow came and melted, after downpours and freezing temps, I saw the proof that his design worked, and now I watch my neighbors deal with stagnant water while I enjoy a beautiful, healthy lawn. But my main reason for writing this review (as I typically do not) is for the back patio Mike installed off my kitchen. During Mikeâ s initial visit for the French Drain, I had inquired about wood or vinyl decking and what he would charge to install one. I had received quotes for both materials from several companies and wanted to see how Mikeâ s would compare. Mike explained why he wouldnâ t recommend this for my yard (issues related to moisture) and suggested a raised paver patio instead. Within a week, I was sent a 3D design detailing the layout and explaining the costs. Not only was his design esthetically pleasing, but it also cost less than the wood or vinyl decking. I agreed and have never been happier with the results of a home project. This patio and backyard have been a lifesaver for me! I saw how Mike and his crew worked; they were on time, professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable! Being so please with the backyard, I ended up having the front of my home redone. Mike installed a beautiful walkway and large front porch (to match the back) and planted shrubs, flowers, put down mulch, and lighting. I honestly canâ t say enough good things about Mike and MAC Landscaping & Design! Thanks, Mike!"
