I sub-contract other parts of the job like laying floor covering, or applying drywall to other contractors that I have worked with and find very reliable. I work on a cash basis usually in the form of checks. I require a third down when I start the job. Balances must be paid within thirty days of job completion. Most of my clients pay immediately when the job is complete.
