Great service..the installer showed care for my house and cleaned the work area better than it was. Had my counter tops done and they turned out great!

The technician arrived on time and was very professional. The tub looks great. I did have a small frustration in that they will not remove any of the hardware. Removing the tub spout and the valve trim is extremely basic and I would expect someone working on the tub to be able to do this. My wife had to call me to return from the store otherwise they would have just finished around the existing hardware.

My tub is gorgeous, just like new! The work was done as promised, quickly, professionally. Gunnar was prompt in relying and explaining the process and the technician was wonderful. He was so careful to keep everything clean. He sanded down the old first refinishing job and did a beautiful job on the application of the new finish. Plus, he was polite, friendly and fast. He was one of the nicest people I had ever had to work with on a project. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat. The price was also very fair.

The Surface Doctors treated my shower and tub in 2020. They were prompt, polite, and the cost and process was exactly as described. Recently, I noticed a chip in the tub floor, probably from a dropped bottle, and that in some spots the caulk had separated. So I contacted them again to schedule a time to repair it. Again, our technician Jorge, the same person who did the original work, was right on time, exceptionally polite, and completed the work efficiently. In fact, he was done in about 30 minutes. I couldn't be happier!

I hired The Surface Doctors because they could reglaze in something other than white. I chose Kohler ice grey. From the first email, gunnar was responsive and patient, explaining the process and the costs. There were no hidden costs, which is refreshing from a contractor. Everything promised was delivered. Jorge was on time, made sure my bathroom and condo were protected with plastic tarps and drop cloths, and gave me updates as he went along. The process is kind of smelly, but they even have an exhaust tube they run from the bathroom to a window so the fumes go outside. Jorge cleaned up when he finished and you honestly could not tell he'd been in my condo. The final product was gorgeous, and the price also included removing the shower door, a color, and adding slip resistance. Would I hire again? Heckie yes. Would I recommend? Heckie yes. BTW in reading other posts I discovered The Surface Doctors glaze other things like sinks and tile.

We are very pleased with The Surface Doctors. Planning and scheduling the project with Gunnar was easy due to his prompt and thorough communication, mostly via email. The date of the refinishing went very smoothly. The refinisher took great care to keep the area clean. The end result is beautiful!

Surface Doctors were responsive to my initial request for quote and follow-up questions. They arranged the work to meet my scheduled, they arrive promptly. The technician, George, did a great job. He explained the process, including adding non-slip tub floor and left the place completely clean. Great job.

Our 25 year old bath tub/shower started developing cracks on the floor of the tub. The cracks developed because the tub was not supported correctly underneath. They drilled holes & injected an expandable material to support the tub. The cracks were repaired. The entire tub/shower was repainted. It looks like a new unit! The technician was on time & very professional. Gunnar answered all of my questions, the price was as quoted. It was a lot cheaper & easier using their method instead of removing & installing new tub/shower. They were done in 6 hours. Great job.

First Gunnar explained the process thoroughly on the phone and how long it would take. They were able to refinish it when we wanted it done. Mark, the technician arrived promptly at 8 AM. He was polite and courteous. I was afraid our hallway carpet might get soiled in the process, but he protected it very well. He was an expert at refinishing. Our tub looks fabulous. I would say this process should be done in the spring or fall because at the end there was a very strong chemical smell and we were glad we could open our windows and ventilate the house.

Steve did a great job refinishing our gold bathtub to white. He was very prompt and courteous. In and out in about 2 hours with no mess left behind. When Steve finished he reviewed with us the warranty and cleaning process of the tub. I will recommend The Surface Doctors to others. Gunnar was very prompt in answering my questions via email. The Surface Doctors did a FANTASTIC job of refinishing our tub! The original (40 year old) tub was faded and in desperate need of a new color. Technician Steve refinished the tub in a biscuit color that matched the new tub surround perfectly and it looks brand new! We highly recommend The Surface Doctors. What a terrific experience. I wasn't sure how this would go. I gave an all in one tub and surround. My technician, Steve, so pleasant and knowledgeable. He addressed all my concerns and assured me that if there were any issues he would come back and correct them. My 20+ year old tub looks brand new. He matched the color of our new toilet perfectly. I would definitely recommend this company. I did not have to spend thousands of dollars to remove old and replace. Plus, this was done in less than three hours.

Mark was easy to work with. He explained the schedule and the work he was expecting to do. I was a little disappointed with the finish itself, I had expected it to be more smooth but there is definitely some graininess - especially on vertical faces.

Guys we're nice, punctual and professional. Tubs looked like new when finished. One tub has had a pair of barely noticeable spots of finish flake off after a few weeks despite following all instructions regarding care and cleaning. Not a big issue, but if finish continues to degrade, we'll call in for a touch up. Price seemed resonable compared to other quotes we received.
