Eric noticed some issues that weren’t up to snuff, he took pictures to document everything and went over it with us. "Detroit City Sweep came to two of my properties to repair a total of three fireplaces. They did a fine job repairing one gas fireplace and adding caps to my chimney. I had a second gas fireplace that they needed to order a part for. I had to call them half a dozen times to get them to order the part and come back to the house to install it. When they finally did, it turns out they ordered the wrong part. After multiple calls they came out a second time, and again, it was the wrong part. Three weeks passed and on the third visit they brought the wrong part again and said the correct part was going to cost me twice what they originally quoted. I would like to recommend Detroit City Sweep, but I just can't."

We have hired a different contractor to re-do the one fixed by Shamrock as well as the 2nd chimney that also needs repair. The tech from Shamrock was a nice guy he but didn?t do the work; his assistant did the work and its a mess."

"I needed the top part of my chimney replaced and some other tuckpointing and brick replacment done around my house. Jason set up a time to come and check out what needed to be done, he arrived on time, he explained things very thoroughly, and I had the estimate by the end of the day. He answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly - very good communication.The day of the job, they showed up right on time, they did everything I asked for (and a little bit more), they did a great job, and cleaned everything up very nicely.
