Michigan Chimney

Ken and Cam drove from Bay city to Oscoda to complete the work. It was a two day job. They rented a cabin so they would be able to finish the job early next day. They were both very friendly and hard workers. Cleaned up after them self. Job was done in a timely manner manor and looks great. I would hire them again. What a great and family friendly company.

They got in the high roof and took pictures showing us what they thought we needed. Took a deposit but may not have told us when the part was expected in.

We had a great experience with this company! Ken called us immediately after we indicated that we were in need of help with our chimney, and was extremely good with communication the entire time. After learning that a bird was trapped in our wall behind the fireplace, we called dozens of companies, however, Michigan Chimneys was the only one that offered their assistance. They were prompt, professional and all around great guys. They were able to free the bird, fix our chimney caps, and clean the chimney for a reasonable price. We would recommend their services to anyone in need of repairs or maintenance! We will definitely hire Michigan Chimneys again in the future!

I hired them to do a sweep and inspection of the chimney. They cleaned all the ash out of the fireplace and went up on the roof to take pictures of the outside of the chimney, and that whole deal. When they were leaving, he recommended I get it cleaned again in the spring because it was really dirty. When I looked up the chimney after they left I only saw signs of it being swept on the top 3 feet while the rest of the chimney was crusted with black (that came off with my finger). I tried discussing it after they left, and I insisted the chimney had not been swept, but the guy assured me it had been and then stopped responding. 1) If my chimney was so dirty it needed to be cleaned again in the spring, why did they only spend 20 minutes at my house cleaning it? 2) I hired them to completely clean my chimney so I would not have to get it cleaned again so soon. 3) I barely saw any evidence that the chimney had been swept outside of the top few feet. 4) The only real service provided was vacuuming out the fireplace (which I could have done myself). If you are looking for someone to do a partial job for not that much money, this is your guy, but if you prefer to have quality service, go somewhere else.
