"started project in late January installed 590ft of fencing as well as 16ft gate. Fencing looks awesome we had a issue with the gate and we called them they came out and fixed the issue with in 7 days. Only thing not good at times was the response to calls and emails in regards to the job that was slow going. I would highly recommend them for your project."

The most affordable metal fence type is wire at just $3 to $5 per linear foot. Wire fences come in a variety of styles and do a good job of marking perimeters and keeping animals in or out of certain areas. While they’re very easy to install and repair, many homeowners find them unattractive, and many homeowners associations won’t allow them.

Post depth for shadowbox fences should be at least two feet deep plus an additional foot for every foot of fence height above four feet. For a standard six-foot fence, this means a minimum depth of 3 feet. This depth helps to protect the structural integrity of your fence in the face of wind, soil movement, and seasonal ground shifts

Pickets should sit at least 2 inches off the ground to encourage groundwater to flow underneath. Pickets can sit as much as 6 inches off the ground, but setting it any higher could let pets in or out of your yard unintentionally. These are not to be confused with the fence posts anchored underground with soil or concrete footing.

Ideally, when you replace a fence post, you should also replace the concrete footing. The concrete bonds to your new post, creating a secure base. If you install a new post into old concrete, it won’t be as sturdy.

That said, it is possible. Sometimes the post will lift right out of the concrete. If not, you can use a high-lift car jack to try and lift the pole out of the footing. Put the new post into the same hole and backfill it with fast-setting concrete. Keep in mind, this won’t work well for metal posts.

All fences offer some degree of privacy, but standard perimeter fences may not be designed with that in mind. Dedicated privacy fences, however, tend to enclose smaller areas and feature more high-end materials that truly emphasize seclusion and comfort. Additionally, privacy fences typically offer fewer gaps to peek in through than standard fences, though you can likely adjust that to suit your preferences.
