"Dan and the team are great! They are very involved in passionate about the community and the customers they serve. The presentation was very thorough. All of my questions were answered, sometimes before I even asked them. Communication was great from start to finish. They took to heart the safety of our pets and make sure there was no possible way they could sneak out of the fence. Would use them again and highly recommend them for your next job!"

"Had them come and install a 8Ã 12 deck. They were done in a timely fashion and the end product turned out spectacular. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone else looking to have a deck built or privacy fence. I'm sure they can do other projects as well but have witnessed both deck and fence in-person and they do a great job all the way around."

"Chris and crew did a great job on our fence! They responded quickly to a request for a quote. Quote time to project time was great too. They worked hard to get our project done in a timely manner and itâ s built very well. I would definitely recommend Chris and his crew for a fence project!"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

You'll pay less on average for the cost of a wooden fence compared to aluminum. However, the price highly depends on the type of wood, the fence design, and extra additions like gates and coats of paint. For example, you may pay less to install an aluminum fence since the panels anchor in the ground, whereas wood fences often take longer to construct, especially picket fences.

The most affordable metal fence type is wire at just $3 to $5 per linear foot. Wire fences come in a variety of styles and do a good job of marking perimeters and keeping animals in or out of certain areas. While they’re very easy to install and repair, many homeowners find them unattractive, and many homeowners associations won’t allow them.

If you’re part of a homeowners association (HOA), you’ll need to speak with them regarding your fence repairs prior to starting work. Sometimes, you’ll need HOA approval to start repairs and ensure that the completed project meets their standards. In other cases, direct approval might not be required to start the project. Speaking with your HOA first will help avoid any unnecessary fines and headaches.

The most common type of metal fence today is one made of either steel or aluminum. These materials are relatively easy to fabricate, making them much more cost-effective than traditional metal fencing handmade from wrought iron. They’re also much lighter and easier to install, contributing to their affordability and making them more DIY-friendly.

Check with your local laws, which might state that you have to build a fence around your plunge pool. If you have children or pets or live in an area with abundant wildlife, you should consider building a fence around your pool for safety. Pools can present a drowning hazard, and while plunge pools are not very deep, younger children can get hurt if they try to dive into them. A fence can help protect your family and visitors from injury.
