"Ron from Ecology Products , INC He was very professional and explained All the different option's and feature's of the World of Insulation's...I Learned a lot that day. They showed up on the date and time we had Scheduled and even called the day before to make sure we would be home. His crew came in introduced themselves. "While removing the old roof, the aluminum coverings on our mansard roof dormers were damaged. The roofing crew attempted to repair the damage but the result was not satisfactory. As compensation they deducted a small amount from the total bill."

"I hired Zebra Insulation to add 12 inches of insulation to our attic. The crew was very respectful, they showed up on time and cleaned up their mess when they were done. Insulation prevents heat transfer, which keeps your home cool in summer and warm in winter. Spreading tin foil over your windows works similarly to radiant barrier insulation, but not as well. If you have blown-in insulation, using an insulation vacuum will quickly and easily suck up all the insulation. Many come with built-in HEPA filters for added safety. While some people suggest breaking up large batts and feeding them into the vacuum, this can expose you to more fiberglass fibers. With batts and rolls, carefully removing them and placing them into garbage bags is a better process.

You can purchase bags of cellulose and loose-fill fiberglass blown-in insulation from the same local home improvement store where you rent your blower. If you want to use rock wool insulation, you may need to special order it.

These two types of foams are similar chemically, but they are applied in a much different way and each has its own pros and cons. Spray foam can only be used if the area where you will be installing the installation is wide open and easy to access. Injection foam should be used where it's cost-prohibitive to remove the walls that are placed over the insulation. Spray foam is a much less expensive process and requires less expertise.
