"Tom Needham, from Ecotelligent Homes (EH), did an energy assessment on our house and then essentially acted as a contractor, organizing the work (with Cappy, but EH personnel did install some insulation as part of the larger project). We are extremely happy with EH's performance. 1) The completed work has provided us with everything we wanted. 2) In every case, all of the personnel who came into our home--sometimes for several days--were professional, friendly, and competent. 3) At one point our house presented a complexity (how to merge new HVAC equipment with a pre-existing zoning setup) that seemed to threaten the chance of continuing with a zoned house (ie dividing our house into 3 sections, each with independent temperature controls/ducts). We reached out to Tom and he coordinated with colleagues at Cappy, to insure that we got what we wanted."

"The good and the bad. Small jobs may be ok but a large job seems to be to much to handle. For the good They showed up on time The price was good They were polite Now for the bad The gentleman does not speak good English so communicating is difficult. They didn’t put any floor protection down i.e. paper so the floor was a complete mess. Drywall mud all over and also spray paint on tile. When installing the drywall there were a bunch of huge gaps, which exceeded a half inch. Drywall gaps should not exceed more than a quarter inch. When hired I told them, I wanted the drywall to be as smooth as my other walls however, there were a bunch of imperfections. When I seen, they started painting with a $50 per gallon paint that I purchased that was a paint and primer in one , I immediately stopped them because you could see the imperfections so I said you have to do the primer first. As with any Drywall job if they are not 100% percent perfect they need to place primer to see all the imperfections and make the repairs otherwise when you put a semi gloss paint on all the imperfections will pop out. After speaking with the wife, I was told to Mark any spots that needed fixing which I did before they came out another day. When he shown up, he appeared to be irritated. He said he is done and doesn’t want additional payment. I paid them 2000 versus the 3000 however, the following was not completed. Painting on the new Drywall Touching up the flaws on the Drywall Doing the tile work on the fireplace Painting the stairwell I would not recommend them for a large Drywall job unless you are looking to have only drywall hung without having the finishing / mudding performed."

Clay and Kristen set very simple and clear standards of what they are going to do. They gave me a 1-hour window of when they were coming on a Saturday for the quote. Showed up in the window near the end and felt bad. They are the best to work with. They had a week off and chose to work to get us done in time for our baby’s new room! We have a little one and my wife is pregnant. They are so clean. Everyday they left the hallway spotless and the room sealed up. Fans running out the window to cut dust. They did way more than they needed to. Very flexible to little changes we needed. They were very minimal on price changes to add things and change things. Everyday they came they asked “Any questions or concerns” They really care. On top of that. The work they did was amazing. They worked with me and let me demo to save a little.
