"Awesome company!!! I have dealt with a lot of contractors, but none have come close the great service I received from SureGuard. It started with Dillon who asked lots of questions and presented options based on what we wanted--no pressure, listened well. Other vendors who came either were hurried or trashed other competitors more than presenting their. I started with just a roof replacement. The SureGuard team did an excellent job working into dark to be sure everything was done as promised. This resulted in a siding and gutter project. I did not even consider getting additional quotes, because SureGuard earned my trust. Dillan presented a design based on what the interior of our home looked like. We went with a grey/white siding with cedar panels in red on the gables and a black/white/grey stone bottom half--BEAUTIFUL! John and Ryan made an awesome team. They are both friendly, courteous, and take great pride in the work they do. They would take out the time to explain exactly what they were working on and were patient to answer any questions. They were great with my dogs (one of my dogs still runs around the house looking for John!). The owner, Tony Saferian, came out almost daily to check on progress, answer questions and keep me aware of where they were at in the project. Tony is meticulous! He made it very clear that he expects to have the same quality of work done as though it was on his own home. I had some big additional items I requested during the project. Usually, a contractor would say they would do it later, but Tony and his team completed these changes. They wanted to be sure we were completely satisfied when the job was done. My wife and I were completely satisfied and expectations were exceeded. When you invest in your home make sure you invest in a good contractor. SureGuard is the best out there by far."

C & O finished the project by ensuring clean up was done properly, thus leaving our home in above satisfactory condition. "After a terrible bathroom remodel several years ago from another contractor, we decided to use Angie's List to find someone who could the job right.  We called several contractors and received a few quotes.  We were impressed with Todd because he took the time to explain what needed to be done.  He also provided some ideas that would improve the look of the bathroom.  I took care of the demolition so we could minimize the number of surprises that would come up during the remodel.  Todd was able to correct a wiring problem and partially correct a plumbing issue in the first couple days that was caused by the last contractor.  Todd had mentioned that there was going to be additional cost to correct these issues.  
During the project, Todd and Dave took their time and were very diligent in replacing the drywall and laying the tile. They did an excellent job with laying the tile.  However when they reinstalled the double vanity, the right sink was leaking.  I notified Todd of this and he stopped by the next day to complete the repair.  He said the sink should be fixed and we could use it the next day.  When we used the sinks, I noticed the right sink was still leaking.  I called Todd and he stopped by a couple days later.  He mentioned that he had worked on both sinks, tested them and everything should be working fine.  Unfortunately, the left sink was leaking.  I notified Todd early in the morning.  He responded the next day and mentioned he could stop over the following week.  Since this was the fourth time the sink leaked since it was reinstalled, we ended up reaching out to another plumber on Angie's List to fix the problem.
Overall, we are happy with the bathroom remodel but disappointed with the last two days of the project since it seemed there was a rush to the finish.  Some of the small details were overlooked and we have a sink that will be fixed by another plumber.   
I would grade the tile work and drywall replacement an A but lower marks on the plumbing.

10/12/15:  7 months since the remodel, we noticed the grout had a couple areas with hairline cracks.  Todd came out within a week and repaired it.  No other issues anywhere else.  The bathroom still looks great.

"Matt was great. Came to our home quickly for a look at our job and estimate. Received the estimate quickly. As with any good contractor, we waited our turn in line for the job to be done, but that gave us more than enough time to choose our materials. He painted a bonus room, removed a kitchen tile backsplash and installed a new one along with our laundry room. He removed a fiberglass shower surround in one bathroom, and replaced with a bigger tile shower. Replaced all bathroom fixtures. The next bathroom, he removed a massive jet tub, replaced with a soaker tub, removed ugly tile and replaced with our choice. He also replaced all bathroom fixtures. Matt always arrived when he said he would, performed excellent work, and most important, kept to his estimate. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. For anything!"

"I am so glad I found Northstarr for my project and would recommend them to anyone. I had a very bad experience with another contractor and the experience with Northstarr helped restore my faith in the profession/industry. Marty met with me personally to get the quote going and seeing how to move forward with the project; and was very open to all my questions and making sure we mitigated surprises on the quote end. All the crew members that came on site were wonderful, and I appreciated that Dennis and Richard kept me in the loop and were very open to my questions/changes along the way. The workmanship is fantastic, and Dennis had some great suggestions on touches to the project that really helped enhance the final look. During the project, there was going to be a time when a large patio door needed to be moved, and I was concerned about my cats getting outside. Northstarr was very understanding and was able to structure the work such that the door was able to be moved without ever giving the cats access to getting outside. Everyone I worked with throughout the process was kind, helpful, respectful, and really walked what they talked. I also liked that the crews were very friendly and I was able to have some great conversations with many great people. Again, would recommend them to anyone and honestly one of the best experience I've had with a contractor in my many years of home ownership."
