"Clint and Mark did an excellent job! My old tub (1946) previously had a "DIY" finish that was applied years ago on both tub and tile surround and the finish was peeling and worn. They worked extremely hard and rigorously to strip the old finish and restore to the original on both, with new grout too. Clint delivered on precisely what he stated on the original call, and on time for start date and finish date. The "clean up" they did....it was if they were never in the bathroom in the first place! Nice guys to have in your home doing a professional job, courteous, detail oriented, and respectful. Let Kellogg's apply their expertise and talent to restore your bathroom. "The project was not an easy one. Our screen porch screens had to be replaced in place. They could not be removed. This was a small project, but EB was willing to do it. Big companies will not touch a small job like this one. EB had to come back to make some adjustments, but they made sure everything was correct. We are pleased with the work and appreciated them wanting to make sure everything was done well."

Installing new ceramic tile can certainly boost your home’s resale value—especially if you’re replacing old or dated flooring. In fact, adding a new bathroom floor delivers a 56.4% return on investment (ROI). In some cases, though, this project can offer as much as 100% ROI. Both porcelain and ceramic have pros and cons. Porcelain tile is generally more durable than ceramic because it is denser and harder. Tiling over your existing backsplash is possible with the right materials and preparation. To do this, the existing backsplash must be clean and free of damage. If you’re installing the new tiles with thinset mortar, the thinset will fill in the existing grout lines as you go, so there won’t be any low spots. If you’re installing a peel and stick tile backsplash, you’ll need to add grout to the existing grout lines first to create a level surface.
