"Project went really smoothly. Sean and Justin were at my house, explained the process thoroughly. Within a week the crew was out and had it done in a day and a half. Crew was polite, and cleaned up well. It was a very good experience."

"It isn't done yet, but the construction manager is not being cooperative about some details that are very important to us. His comments on the material and timing for staining the deck are not consistent with information from lumber experts I know."

"We had storm damaged aluminum siding replaced with vinyl siding. This was done during January and we were cautioned that work would be performed weather permitting. Of course, all of the snow and rain arrived and it took longer than expected to be done. However, the work was top notch and workers extremely courteous and aware of maintaining a clean working area. Once the weather cleared the work was completed in a matter of days and upon inspection everything was done met our expectation. Very favorable follow through my management and workers. Highly satisfied and enthusiastically recommend them."

"We looked into many roofing options before finding White Pine Renovation. However, once we had our meeting with the owner Eric, we knew instantly that they were the best choice for our project. We were encouraged to think through what they had to offer with no pressure and Eric worked patiently with us from start to finish ensuring we got the best quality and value for our metal roof. Now we get completes from neighbors and friends alike on our beautiful roof."

"From start to finish, Coastline Roofing & Exteriors was an absolute pleasure to work with. Their communication was excellent — clear updates, quick responses, and total transparency throughout the entire process. The pricing was fair and competitive, especially considering the high quality of the materials and workmanship. It’s rare to find a company that truly earns your trust, but Coastline delivered on every promise they made. The crew was professional, respectful of my property, and left everything spotless when they finished. The final result looks incredible — you can tell they take real pride in their work."

"Vinyl Sharks came highly recommended from a co worker of mine after having another contractor absolutely destroy our house. Not only did they make everything right, they did it in a timely manner and for the budget we had discussed. I would highly recommend this contractor as it?s hard to find honest and dependable contractors."

"Living in Cheboygan, Michigan, it can be hard to find a trustworthy contractor. We are so glad we found Community Construction through their website, CommConstruct.com. We ended up hiring them to completely remodel one of our bathrooms. We wanted to change from a standard bathroom with a tub and shower to a beautiful tiled walk-in shower, along with a new tiled floor and new vanity. My wife and I are extremely happy with the results and highly recommend them."

Siding repair costs $870 for an average homeowner. This cost could be as little as $75 or as much as $16,000, depending on your existing siding material, repair type, and damage level. For example, for basic siding repair, you can expect to pay between $2 and $16 per square foot for materials and labor. However, if you have extensive damage or for more expensive materials like stucco, that price jumps to $4 to $50 per square foot.
The cost to replace siding for your home is $11,450 on average. But siding replacement can cost up to $40,000 or more, with the largest expense being your chosen material. For example, for a 2,000 square feet house, the average cost of siding materials such as vinyl is between $9,000 and $14,000. Wood siding is a little more expensive, ranging from $16,000 to $26,000. However, for the same size house using brick or stone, that cost jumps to $18,000 to $100,000. When choosing to replace your home’s siding, it’s essential to consider your climate and longevity.
The length of time your siding will last will depend on the siding material and your climate. It’s important to remember that proper routine maintenance, like twice-a-year cleaning, is vital to help extend the longevity of your siding and to avoid replacement before its expected lifetime ends.
Vinyl, aluminum, and wood siding lasts 20 to 40 years
Fiber cement siding lasts around 50 years
Brick and stone veneer siding lasts at least 100 years
There are several different types of siding available to give you the home exterior of your dreams. Each type of siding has its own cost factors, estimated lifespan, and benefits to fit your needs. Some common siding options include:
Vinyl
Wood
Aluminum
Fiber cement
Brick
Stone and stone veneer
Stucco
If you want to stay environmentally friendly, wood siding is natural, recyclable, and renewable. However, if you’re looking for a durable siding option that is more resistant to dents and scratches, brick or stone siding is your best choice.
There are certain circumstances where your homeowners insurance might cover the expense of siding repair. If you have siding damage due to extreme weather, a natural disaster, a fire, or a hail storm, your policy might fully or partially pay for the repair or replacement cost. However, most policies will not help pay for repairs due to general wear and tear. It’s best to review your homeowners insurance policy for full details on what may be covered.
