"Professional service from inspection/bid right through installation of crawlspace lining, dehumidifier, and sump pump. Jake, Tim, and Josh were respectful of us and our house/property. For an extra layer of security, use heat tape, which acts as a personal heater to keep your pipes warm even when temperatures drop. Additionally, you should regularly check your vent cap to make sure it’s free from leaves and debris that can block the airflow. A clean, unobstructed vent cap is crucial for maintaining proper ventilation that will keep your plumbing vents from freezing and the plumbing system running smoothly.

You could be smelling sewer gas in your kitchen because of a dry P-trap, clogged vent pipe, or leaking plumbing seals. If you smell a rotten egg odor, check your sink’s P-trap and plumbing connections first. A clogged or damaged vent pipe can trap sewer gas and push it back into your kitchen through the plumbing pipes. Loose or deteriorated seals around drainpipes can also allow sewer gas to leak out. If you can’t find the source, call a local plumber for expert help.
