"Absolutely Terrible and Lawn is dying with their services! We have been using them for 10 years. This year their applied services have ruined our lawn. Bloomfield manager came out finally and said,”Yep your lawn is needed up!” And the did it! Used to have best lawn in the neighborhood with sod and no weeds! Not anymore and the same services were performed by TrueGreen as previous years! We are going to post signs in our yard saying “Work performed by TrueGreen”!!! Committee to training, knowledge of the latest in technology and continuing education are also priorities at hogarth’s. Staying on the cutting edge of the newest and most effective products and procedures as they develop is mandatory.

"I called these people last weekend because we thought our daughter may have been bitten by a bat. We had a bat a week before, but hadn’t seen it since. All I wanted was to trap the bat if it was still around. The woman I spoke with said it would be difficult to determine if the bat was still there and trap it if there wasn’t a nest of them in the house. She suggested that I get an exclusion inspection, said they have openings this week and she could have someone call me to set an appointment. She also took my credit card number. Today I got a an email receipt for a $150 dollar charge for the inspection and shortly after got an inspection report. I never received a phone call to schedule the inspection as she had stated, and nobody even knew the guy was here. Had I been able to talk to the person who did the inspection I would have cancelled it because they had no intention of catching the bat, they just wanted to get paid to send me an estimate for thousands of dollars for the to make some changes to my house that they would hope would keep future bats out. What a ripoff!"

If you use gel bait, use it in areas where pets and children can’t access them, such as under a washing machine. Another option is to use glue traps, which don’t contain pesticides and are safe to use around pets. 

Bed bugs are highly sensitive to heat, so a hot blast with a hairdryer can draw them out of hiding. Providing a source of warmth, such as a heating pad or hot-water bottle, can attract and lure them out. Bed bug monitors and traps with pheromones can also be effective.

The best way to permanently get rid of skunks is by setting up deterrents around your property to keep skunks out. Get rid of skunks permanently by:

  • Not leaving food or water outside

  • Installing a motion-sensor sprinkler system

  • Installing fencing that’s at least 3 feet high and a foot deep

  • Adding motion-sensor lights in the yard

  • Cleaning up brush, sticks, woodpiles, and leaves on your property so skunks can’t use the materials for a nest

  • Seal up cracks and holes around your property to prevent skunks from building a den

  • Placing fresh lemon peels around the perimeter of your home

One of the first signs of bed bugs are reddish stains on your sheets. These stains get left behind when bed bugs get crushed. Some other signs to look out for are small dark dots, small red bites, and pale molted skins.
