"It went great. There was a miscommunication that initially had me concerned regarding not using the low-VOC finish I requested, but it was sorted out and the floors look beautiful. Other people have walked in and asked who did our floors."

"Very professional. Is extremely knowledgeable about all flooring types. We had vinyl plank flooring installed throughout our house with carpeting on our stairs. It is so beautiful!! Him and his crew worked wonders! When they pulled up the flooring we had they discovered a horrible floor beneath. They had to remove hundreds of nails and level the flooring before they could install the new vinyl plank. They were efficient and went above and beyond what I would have received from any other company."

"We had Epic Floors out to give an estimate for a job we wanted done. They arrived as promised and explained the whole process and provided us with a quote very quickly. After the quote was given we felt very comfortable with their abilities. The installation was set up a week later. Job was completed in one day and it turned out GREAT! "Refloor did a great job on my basement and laundry room floors. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and made picking a color easy. My old floors were scratched up because of my dogs but my new floor is definitely more durable. I definitely recommend Refloor to anyone that wants new flooring in their home, you won't be disappointed!"

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

The cost to put wooden flooring in an attic can run a wide range. Carpeting can cost as little as $1 per square foot, or even less if you opt for unfinished flooring types like rubber or painted plywood. On the high end, hardwood floors might cost as much as $45 dollars per square foot. For a previously unused space, you’ll probably need to add a subfloor which usually costs about $5 per square foot.

On average, installing carpet costs between $3 and $11 per square foot, depending on factors like the carpet material, style, and labor rates in your area. Sometimes, installers will include carpet removal in these costs, so if you don’t have any carpet to remove, you can save time and spend less money on labor.

Some root cellars are made with concrete, but a dirt floor may be better for your crops' longevity. Dirt can help maintain an appropriate temperature and humidity level, while the concrete might suck up all the moisture. Dirt floors can also bring down the overall cost of your root cellar. But, if you’re going with a dirt floor, make sure you properly insulate between your house and the root cellar.

Clean with a damp mop, avoid excess water, and use furniture pads to prevent scratches.

Yes, you can technically make a crawl space liveable, but the only way to do so is by converting it into a basement. While some crawl spaces are big enough to walk through and store large items, they lack appropriate insulation and space to be liveable.
