"I needed to get new floors in my home and I could not be happier with the work Naim and his crew did when installing my new flooring. Naim and his crew were prompt, professional and extremely knowledgeable. They quickly and carefully removed furniture from each room and got to work immediately. A laminate floor will lift if it hasn’t been installed with the proper expansion gaps around the room’s perimeter. Laminate flooring naturally expands and contracts when indoor temperatures fluctuate, and without adequate room for expansion, the planks can lift off the subfloor. To avoid this, ensure your flooring installer knows to leave the proper expansion gaps.

It’s a good idea to install a rug pad under the carpet for your stairs. To make the pad fit, you’ll need to cut one section for each stair tread that’s about one inch narrower than the stair runner so that it won’t be visible once the carpet is installed on top.

After carpet removal, prepare for new flooring by assessing the subfloor. You will want to address any imperfections to create a smooth and level base for installation.
