Simon is a go-getter. He gave me a good bid for my entire home for luxury vinyl flooring (less updated bathroom) and the flooring turned out really good. A few issues, there were 2 layers of the vinyl underneath the carpet which was glued down really hard on the concrete slab in 2 rooms, so my 900 sq ft ranch price went from 6,800 to 8,300 in a matter of minutes. He told me they would be done in about 3 days and were really great as I'm disabled so they worked around the big furniture by placing it in areas or outside while they worked indoors. They worked 5 hours the first day, Tuesday and Wednesday were full 6 to 7 hour days and Thursday was about 4 hours. The extra glued vinyl took a few extra hours for his 2 helpers. I felt 1,500 extra for a few extra hours was kind of steep considering the cost of the labor was about 3,000 (based on a 3-day job) However, when he was done, I noticed that the tiles leading into the bathroom were not fixed, one was broken but it was just left like that. My daughter asked me about her room as the furniture hid 5 holes in her room where they made holes prying the baseboard off but never mentioned it to me at all. There was also a corner in her room between her door and closet that had no baseboard. I called Simon upset he left me and my house without telling me what damage they did and had no intentions of even fixing it themselves as he grabbed the envelope with the money and ran on Thursday afternoon. Once I told him this was unacceptable to have to turn around and hire someone to fix tiles and grout and someone to cover the holes in the walls, he made plans to come over and fix the damage he or his workers did. He also finished the baseboard where there was none in my daughter room. He wound up having to place a tile that is orange which my bathroom flooring is a dark gray slate, so I have to figure out the best way to make that tile match since they broke one and I do not even understand why they needed to undo any of the tiles as there was no connection to the bathroom and the tiles. My threshold going into the bathroom was broken along with the tiles and he rigged it up with a piece of the quarter round so we would not stub our toes walking into the bathroom. The next day, went to do laundry and noticed the washer would fill but then make a noise. It will not agitate or spin at all. I text Simon and asked for $300 back as this is damage from them moving my washer, no idea how but it worked fine before he did the floors. I tried to troubleshoot, my daughter also did, and I am disabled and have been very depressed lately so while the floors look good, when I finally had some energy and less pain, I wound up having to have a repairman come see what was needed to be fixed on my washer. In addition, my washer does not work anymore so now I need to either spend 300 to repair this as I already paid 150 to get it to troubleshoot or I can spend 600 for the same user and only a 2-year-old washer at a different place and have a warranty to go with it. All in all, he is a go-getter and he wants you to be very happy with his work. The flooring I got is exactly what I wanted and it looks great, but I feel like he ripped. me off by asking for an additional 1500 for about 3 extra hours for 2 of his workers each, then left my home with 5 holes in 1 room, left the bathroom threshold broken, and even now, one tile is orange and failed to even mention it to me. As a homeowner, this was the most upsetting. Then finding out that my washer is broken when it worked perfectly before has also left me upset.

Highly recommended! True professionals. Simon answered the phone the 1st time I called and was able to provide an estimate over the phone. The day of installation they showed up on time and even gave a courtesy call 30 minutes prior. They cleaned up everything before they left. We had 700 square feet of engineered hardwood installed and it came out amazing. We will definitely be using Simon for our future projects.
