Michael and Bryden from Simply Floor Coverings took on a job no one else would touch: Leveling a very old, uneven concrete basement floor and installing glue-down planks. The job required layers of a special compound mixture as an underlayment to achieve the proper pitch and slope to two separate drains. It was intricate, meticulous, skilled, and labor intensive work. We were so happy with the final product that we paid more than the agreed upon price. Bryden even came over on a Sunday to expedite the timeline of completion. If you re looking for great customer service coupled with exceptionally skilled labor at a reasonable price, I highly recommend giving Michael a call.

The work crew were very honest and spent time to inspect the laminate planks for any chips. They had to come back a few times to make everything perfect but they did and in a timely manner. Simply floors was simply, easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

My wife and I had four other contractors out to bid on the job which was a basement office floor tear out and install. The four companies I had out prior to Mike-Simply Floors, either over bid or declined to take on the job. My wife made ONE call to Mike regarding my situation. Mike took the console approach with my wife and I over thee phone first. That said, we welcomed Mike to come out the next day to look over the job at hand and bid or no bid the opportunity. Without any hesitation, Mike bid on the job and explained to my wife and I, the precise next steps. The job was completed in a very short amount of time and with the best in class installer/Bryden. Amazing job from start to finish and this was not an easy job but Mike stepped up and took on the challenge head on. The results are nothing short of amazing. Simply Flooring is the go to in any an all flooring situations. Best in class all the way.

I was impressed from the start. The owner, Mike, came to the first appointment. He was professional, gave great advice, communicated clearly, and was definitely dedicated to his work. He explained what I needed in my basement better than any of the other companies I had interviewed (i.e., because the floor was uneven I needed tiles as opposed to planks). He offered a very fair price. There were NO hidden costs. The two crew men were also exceptional. They worked hard and long, knew what they were doing, were professional. This company did a great job. The floor looks outstanding. I plan on hiring this company again for the upstairs. UPDATE: May 2020 Another 5 stars for Simply Floors. We have had the misfortune of having three floods in our house, two in the basement, one upstairs. Mike, the owner of Simply Floors, did a fantastic job putting new flooring in the basement (see initial review). A few months later, the kitchen floor suddenly started bubbling up. I called Mike. He said: "You are having water damage. You need a plumber NOW". I was also extremely upset. We are senior citizens, living on a decreasing income and I am disabled. I just could not believe that we were having yet MORE water damage. Again, we selected the covering. I decided he might as well do all the floors upstairs as the carpet was old and damaged. They did a BEAUTIFUL job. My team, Bryden and LaTorres were professional, friendly, and really cared about what they were doing. They worked long and hard, sometimes until well into the evening. They were detail oriented. I really appreciated that. They checked with me on various details, and really cared about how it looked. For example, we covered the stairs leading to the basement. For safety reasons (for me), they put a metal strip at the edge of each stair. They really considered whether the strips should be gold tone, silver tone, or pewter tone. They cared about selecting the just right trim to match the tones in the floor. This company is a pleasure to work with and they do a fantastic job. The change in the appearance of our house is stunning.

Michael was very easy to work with and really listened to me. He was able to get me exactly what I wanted for a great price. He is a good problem solver and thinks outside of the box. He and his crew were able to install a beautiful vintage style pattered carpet in the upstairs of our 1850’s home and they did a great job working with the old floors. No buckeling and the seams are virtually invisible! Great people to work with and I highly recommend them - I plan to have them come back to install more carpet later!!

Very responsive and was able to get our carpet ordered and installed within a week - even during the holiday season. Very accommodating and easy to work with. The installers were very professional and worked hard and our sales person Michael was great to work with and made the process very smooth.

Total house minus 2 bathrooms in laminate flooring. All was fine with Michael until the job started. He's a great salesperson. Was told the job would take one week. It took two weeks and a Saturday. Was also told that some subfloor would be replaced where it creaked. No subfloor was replaced. Half way through the job, I was told that they could not do the same laminate material for the nosing on my stairs. It was a cheap metal that didn't cover the nose of stairs entirely. After the crew was "finished" I asked Michael to come look at the list of problems I noticed after the crew left. Missing shoe molding, a damaged board in the middle of my living room, 2 closet doors not put back, damaged baseboards, and the stair nosing not covering completely. He said he would send the crew back out after he ordered a different stair nosing that would fit. The crew came back 2 weeks later and told me they didn't have the material to complete the fixes and Michael would call me to reschedule. NEVER got a call. My fault for paying in full and trusting this guy to come back to complete the job. Had to hire a new company to come to complete the job in the amount of $2000. I went back to Michael to ask him to reimburse me for the $2000. He said he was willing to compensate me for his mistakes in the interest of customer service. But instead of making me an offer, he accused me of extortion. MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING FROM THIS GUY!!!!
