i hired Dave to install a small kitchen floor Dave made the date for install on august 29th he never showed nor did he call this would be the perfect guy to hire if you cleared your schedule so he could wreck your day LISTEN TO ME DONT BE AIDIOT AND HIRE THIS GUY LOOK AT HIS REVEIWS i talked to other potential clients of his and he did the same thing one guy TWICE i should have known when he couldnt confirm a price he beat aroung the bush when he talked price home advisory and anges list should take notice

I glad I went with a general contractor.

Well, I wasted a $1000.00. Team was supposed to come one day called and said they were behind and if they could come the next day, I said sure, don't want them to feel rushed and they were very pleasant and apologized. I have pre-finished floors and knew they would have to do a lot of sanding. They came in the next day, and because of the way our house is designed, my wife stayed upstairs, I came home early to see the job and saw a large garbage bag in the front of my driveway. They had already sanded, placed varnish on the floor and were gone. They never asked us to look at the sanded floor to see if we were satisfied nor did they tell my wife they were gone. I looked at the floor and was not happy and contacted them. The boards showed sand marks, gouge marks and it looked half sanded in areas, I guess they figured if we saw the sand job we would want them to sand some more so they hurried put down the varnish. I was told it would look better the second coat. The next morning I walked on the floor and realized they left my patio door unlock, bathroom light on and fan running, I told them they should have notified us they were leaving the prior day. Because I complained they decide to take measurements and asked for payment prior to applying the second coat (BIG, BIG MISTAKE) and said it would look a lot better (note two coats to them means 1 coat of varnish and 1 coat of Poly). Well I went to work took a half day to catch them, they showed up after 10 am and by the time I got home at noon they were gone. They were there less than two hours and again they did not tell us they were leaving. The next morning the floor felt like sand paper, the shine was awful they never left an invoice or receipt for the job. I contacted them again and they said oh! It just needs another poly coat and that would be another $150, I said no and because they want me to be happy they said if I can just pay for material and I said ok. Arranged a day for them to come and decided to take a vacation day so I can be there this time, text them the night before to confirm and they said ok, the next day a no show text them a few times and no response, not only out $1000 also wasted a vacation day. You would have thought they were have contacted us to see if we were satisfied, No, got the money and ran. Anyway, call another company to find out if they can fix it, they looked at the floor and ask me if I tried to do the job myself. I said no it was done professionally, after I told them how long it took, they said it's no way they would be able to take off the pre-finish, perform the correct sanding, put the finish down in that time frame. They said they can still see the Aluminum Oxide finish on the floor, gouge marks and uneven sanding. They thought the company should have showed us the floor prior to applying any type of finished, in fact they said they will.
