Mr. Graham came right away for the check as he lives not far from me. He promised to have a crew come over as soon as they had a non-snow day. Those promises continued despite repeated calls to his office. 13 months later, with a big blue tarp over our foyer and 4 pans collecting dripping water, my AAA Insurance rep advised me to just file a claim and let the insurance company go after R Graham Construction through subrogation. Of course, now the problem is much bigger. There are large stains on the drywall and the wall must be opened up to inspect the insulation. Wet drywall and wet insulation can lead to black mold which can be a very serious health threat.
I have submitted many positive reviews to Angie's List and in all my years as a member, this if the first negative review I have submitted. Mr. Graham clearly dropped the ball here and does not deserve your trust or business.

We also had 3 side tables that we wanted refinished. We turned to Angie's List for help & chose Ensign Fine Finishing Inc because of the numerous positive reviews regarding their services. We couldn't be happier with our choice - the repaired & refinished pieces are perfect!
Michael Ensign was very easy to work with. He responded promptly to our inquiry, completed the work in a timely fashion & gave us exactly what we were hoping for at a price that is almost too good to be true. He is a knowledgeable, skilled, artistic craftsman - thank you to Angie's List for bringing us together!!!

Mr. Kenney's expert diagnosis pinpointed the problem to the main control board (where its defrost relay was not working) - and this was a far less costly repair.
After this repair experience we bought a quality single-outlet UL 1449 Listed surge suppressor (840 joules, < 1 nanosecond response time, 330Vac clamping voltage, H-N, N-G, H-G protection) to hopefully prevent any potential damage to our refrigerator/freezer electronics or motor from power spikes and surges... (we've had a number of power interruptions over the 3 year period since our refrigerator was new and this may possibly have been the cause of an eventual failure of the main control board?); if the surge suppressor works it will be cheap insurance."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/sc/aiken/kenney%27s-appliance-service-reviews-343738.htm"},"position":6},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"New Traditions in Building","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"MI","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Dorothy M."},"reviewBody":"The builder moved a camper onto my property and lived there during construction. 4 years after roof replacement, two significant leaks developed under snow load or heavy rain. Began calling Rick Graham in December 2013. I had held out $500 from the original replacement as I was very unhappy about the flashing detail on one side of the roof and predicted it would leak. I...

"Troy and his team were so wonderful throughout this entire process! Troy came out over a year ago to quote - he spent nearly 4 hours on my property making sure that he understood exactly what was going on with each of my buildings. He took several pictures and gave a very estimate. I had several other companies come out to provide quotes & they just simply weren't as thorough or kind. Troy continued to follow up and once we were able to budget for the project, he came out and made sure nothing had changed. Throughout the job he took TONS of pictures so I didn't have to go under the building to check it out. They were professional & very respectful of our business operations. I will have them back this summer to finish up some additional projects! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!"

Steelman Brothers Construction, LLC is owned and operated by, Randy Steelman. Randy’s love for building began at a young age while helping his grandfather build their family home. From that time forward Randy worked for commercial and private building companies in many capacities; large projects such as building dams and small detail oriented projects such as fine cabinetry. All of this experience offered Randy the ability to make his dream become a reality and in 2015 “Steelman Brothers Construction” was born. Not only does Randy get to do what he loves everyday but he also gets to teach his brothers and sons what his grandfather taught him. No job too big or too small. Call Randy and family!
"Owner and staff were friendly, flexible, went above and beyond to get things done when home owner wasn't able to do so, or assist. Owner was also helpful with ideas and product suggestions."

When you’re hiring a concrete contractor, ask as many questions up front as possible. Here are a few questions to ask a prospective concrete contractor:
Do you use stone or sand for base material?
How thick do you usually pour concrete?
How many years of experience do you have?
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Do you have worker’s compensation?
How long have you worked with your subcontractors?
How do you handle garbage and waste disposal?
Do you provide a guarantee or warranty on your work?
Do you give free estimates?
How do you handle change orders?
Can you provide at least three references?
Can I see some of the work you’ve done in photos and the actual project?
Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
Yes, concrete contractors should be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed concrete contractor could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations. States have different requirements for concrete contractor licensing, so be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification, which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Depending on the cost to repair your driveway, it may be more cost effective to tear out and replace it with a new concrete driveway. The cost to repave a driveway ranges between $1,400 and $12,100, including removal of the old concrete. Contact a reputable concrete contractor for advice and an estimate. They may have a good reason for going with repairs or replacement after assessing your driveway. You may also have the option to resurface your driveway or pave over it without taking out the existing one.
Concrete contractors typically charge anywhere from $6 to $14 per square foot. Cost factors include job size, site prep, base material, accessibility, your location, concrete finish, and concrete thickness. Removal of existing concrete, asphalt, deck, pavers, and grass will cost anywhere from $1 to $6 per square foot. Homeowners can often save money by removing and disposing of existing pavers, decks, and grass. Breaking up and hauling away concrete and asphalt is difficult and time-consuming without the proper equipment and may be worth having the pros do that work.
