"Cascade helped us when our sump pump failed - they came the same day and replaced it! I was so happy I hired them to install a water heater the next week. Thank you John and Linda!"

"After removing the Rube Goldberg contraption my husband built to try to fix it, he quickly assessed the problem.  There was 30 years of mineral buildup from the water softener discharge, and this was constricting the flow in the pipe trap.  He was in and out in approximately 20 minutes.  Very nice guy.

"Theyâ ve been great. Got a barrier free shower for my father and itâ s a very nice unit. My only wish - and itâ s hindsight being 20/20- is that they really explain and have hands on models for all the features particularly when doing accessibility related installs. My dad didnâ t quite get the need for the water barrier gasket and we switched out the shower head because he found it too heavy. Our installers were amazing and Iâ m thankful we had the guys we had."

"Went very well.  The flat roof area had been "repaired " 2 yrs. ago, but the repair was not done correctly, as the flat rood sagged in the middle and water collected and leaked into the walls.  The company that did the repair work has since gone out of business.
Adam the roof guy did an excellent job, removed the failed flat roof repair, put heavyweight rubber sealing  material down &  sealed it, and actually reconfigured the roof so it slopes and doesn't collect water.  That part of the job was about $1600.
The plaster job turned out more complicated because  when the old plaster was removed furry mold was found on the wall.  Portions of the wood also were wet, and had to be removed/replaced.  New drywall was put up over more than half of the wall, and the ceiling was repaired/ replastered.  The work was done efficiently, professionally, and looks great.  Jim (the drywall guy) was great, as was his boss Jim.  I am very pleased with the work they did and would highly recommend them."

"I called the answering service on a Friday night and the lady told me that they would have someone at my house within 30 minutes. She also told me that there wasn't any up charge for weekends. The tech was at my house within 25 minutes and was very polite and friendly. He then figured out where the clog was and within 30 minutes he had our drains cleared and water flowing freely again. He did a great clean up job and the price I believe to be very fair for coming out on a Friday night without any appointment. I will not hesitate to call these guys again for any drain problem."

Water Heaters questions, answered by experts

Electric water heaters typically last 10 to 20 years, though proper maintenance can extend their lifespan. If your unit is over a decade old and showing signs of inefficiency—such as higher energy bills, frequent repairs, or leaks—replacement is a smart investment. Tankless models last over 20 years, which can make them a longer-lasting alternative to traditional tank water heaters.

Yes, hybrid water heaters can be noisy — noisier than traditional water heaters. The sound they produce is often compared to the hum of a dishwasher. Its noise comes from the heat pump’s fan and compressor as they work to pull in and compress the air. While it’s not totally disruptive, especially if the unit is installed in less frequented areas, like a basement or garage, it’s something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to noise or if the unit will be placed near bedrooms or living spaces.

Basements, specifically those without any air conditioning, are the best location for a hybrid water heater. These rooms are less likely to experience extreme temperature fluctuations, which can affect your hybrid water heater’s efficiency and performance. Basements often have more than enough space for their tanks and proper air circulation. Hybrid water heaters can also be a bit noisy, but putting them in your basement will keep the noise away from your main living areas.

If you have a tank-type electric water heater, it runs regularly to keep the water at the desired temperature. If you live in a home where you don’t use much hot water, it could seem wasteful to run power to heat water that you’re using infrequently. You could save some power by using a smaller tank, insulating the tank, or lowering the temperature of the water heater.

Often, the first issue you might encounter is a lack or loss of power—this could be caused by a tripped switch or a failed heating element. If your hot water is not producing enough power and its size is not the issue, you might need to replace one of its heating elements. A leaking water heater could be caused by tank erosion.
