"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"Healthy Homes Housecleaning has been cleaning our house regularly for the past 4 years. They make our kitchen and bathrooms shine! We are very happy with their work and with them as a company. They do a great job and are very flexible with working around our schedules. They follow all COVID protocols so it always felt safe having them in our home. We would highly recommend Healthy Homes Housecleaning. Sandy is lovely as are all the staff we have worked with over the years."

"The guys came in and did a great job turning our basement space into a new Master bedroom/Nursery. Took the space and made it beautiful with 3 new customs closets! I will definitely be hiring them for all my home improvement needs from here on out."

Closets questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on material type, size, and additional features like lighting or sliding doors.

Most packing services take 4-12 hours, while unpacking may take 1-2 days, depending on volume.

Whether it’s less expensive to build or buy a closet depends on both the type of closet and whether or not you’d be constructing it yourself. The cost of custom closets built by a pro ranges from $1,300 to $3,800, but you may be able to DIY it for as little as $400. By contrast, prefabricated options go as low as $200 and up to $3,000, so it’s almost always less expensive to go this route.

Hanging and folding clothes are efficient ways to pack your clothes during a move. When choosing a packing method, consider the type of clothing you’re packing. For example, clothing such as dresses, suits, blouses, and items made of silk and similar fabrics are ideal for hangers. On the other hand, it’s easier to fold pants, shorts, t-shirts, thick sweaters, and more.

Yes, books are typically heavier than clothes, unless you have a collection exclusively of paperbacks or comic books. That’s why packing lots of books warrants careful planning and consideration. Consider packing up your reading collection first to determine whether you need to downsize it before loading it into your moving truck.
