"I needed a landscaper because my lawn was a mess (more weeds and moss than grass, it seemed), and water was seeping into the basement because of improper gutter drainage and soil grading. Oh, and there was a critter, possibly the skunk that was seen in the area, burrowing underground where there was a gap near my patio – ugh! I hired M&L because the quote was reasonably priced, and Leo was responsive, understanding and cooperative as my landscaping project evolved. The job he ended up doing included building a trench for the gutter downflow, re-grading the entire lawn, creating flowerbeds, installing a fence, doing concrete work (to keep that critter out!), and paving a small section of the yard to hold trash and recycling bins. Leo and his team showed up when they said they would, worked quickly and efficiently, and with the greatest attitude – all of them were hard-working and easy to deal with. I will definitely hire M&L again for future landscaping jobs, and I highly recommend them to others. My lawn now looks nice and neat, can't wait for the new grass to grow. Thank you, Leo and crew!"

"I hired Daniel to replace a door and replace weatherstripping around two other doors. He also painted my back door. The weatherstripping soon failed and came off the doors, and the paint job was poorly executed. This spring, I was preparing to move and discovered that he had dumped all his construction debris, including the old door, behind my garage and onto my neighbor's property. I also discovered he had thrown scrap wood in my bushes next to the house. He also had issues with promptness."

They did most of the work themselves which was important to me that someone was always on site. My schedule is crazy. Iâ m often not home and I trusted them to be here and get the job done without my oversight. We ran into some challenges, even added a few more jobs to the project. "James spent all afternoon presenting the options so I could choose the products and prices I preferred. I thought the price was high but agreed it was a fair deal considering I’d already waited two years for other companies to do the work. I was surprised by how soon they were able to begin, and was kept in touch with the timeline by phone. The three fellows who came to do the work lived about four hours away, making it a very long day for them. They did spend one night in a local hotel, but then decided they’d rather be back in their own homes for the night. They worked nonstop until both a deck and a front porch were completed, the last day until about 10PM. They were very pleasant and polite. Their project manager visited and checked on the progress and completion. I wasn’t completely happy with the concrete padding, but overall so pleased to have the work done. Aside, my account went to a finance company that quoted me a different plan, and they don’t take credit cards."
