Shawn always goes above and beyond in planning and executing our projects. He once told me that he puts the same amount of quality and care into the work he does on a customer's home as he would on his own home and I truly believe him. His work is detailed and meticulous. The job he did remodeling our outside space is top quality. There is not one thing we had to question. We love everything! Beyond that he is reliable, honest, trustworthy, hardworking and a really nice guy. We can't possibly recommend Boyd Building any higher! 5 stars don't seem like enough! "

"Signed contract on May 8 for deck build.On May 12 rep came to my office to collect deposit of apprx $13,000. He said project team meeting on Wed & would update me then on start date etc. On Fri May 16 I had to reach out to him. He wrote the team had met & materials were ordered. An hour later he wrote back that he was misinformed & that his boss was going to call me next week. Despite this, dep check cashed. On Mon 5. 20 rep wrote back that they had forgotten certain costs & to proceed it would be $8,000 more. Not a typo. $8,000 more. No apology. Ridiculous, contract rescinded. I wrote that he could return my deposit at my office just as he had collected it. On Wednesday the 21st I got a text from "Tom," presumably the owner/boss, saying he would "drop a check in the mail" to my address. Today is May 30th, Friday, and still no check. Check at a minimum should have been overnighted. They owe me interest not to mention the deposit to hire a contractor who will honor contract. Bad."

"The work was done as promised, on time during a fairly tough economy, The modifications needed for the project were made and worked as planned, and _ most IMPORTANTLY _there was good communicators before, during, and after the project. Appreciated."

"I purchased two awning coverings for my home residence. I have had a problem with the larger one (12feet long) . The ropes have broken off on two of the five needed to operate the awning.I have reach out to Atlantic Awning both Gail and Cheryl to look for a solution to this issue and have received nothing but compliments from both of them on every possible issues except my concern .They don?t seem to care about their customers . I have had to call them they have never gotten back to me even though both have told me they would. Used this company for over 30 years and have had issues but never like this . I purchased the product around October of 2023 never would I have thought the ropes would be broken off in such a short period of time. I wouldn?t recommend using this company,I for sure will not in the future 30 years I guess they must figure the chances are I wouldn?t be around to purchase awnings again being in my middle sixties.Just an awful feeling."
