"Once again and with the highest confidence, we hired Russell's Contracting to convert our back entrance into a more open, useful mudroom. As promised, they arrived on time on the expected date and started by sealing off the back entrance for dust. The demolition of the closet was first done, and then the rehab began. I was amazed at the level of detail necessary to make the new mudroom perfect. From fixing the ceiling to installing new walls, taping and sanding, painting, new baseboards, and moving the overhead light, it was fun to watch. Colby was professional, exacting, efficient, clean, and asked all the right questions to ensure we were happy with the result. The new mudroom is exactly what we wanted. In addition, we asked Russell's to help us figure out how to make our open staircase to the second floor safer. Keith, Colby, and Max designed and installed a custom-built, stair-to-ceiling railing system that looks great and provides the necessary safety we were looking for. They also made it removable to accommodate large objects up and down stairs. The amount of time they spent was crazy, and the amount of math they did to ensure it was plumb and solid was above and beyond our expectations. My house was built in 1933, and this railing system looks like it could have been original to the house. It is a masterpiece. "Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"After purchasing an Angie's List Deal, I received the measuring kit in the mail promptly. The template and instructions provided to draw my split table top and each of the leaves were easy to use and understand. I mailed the completed materials and received the table pads very quickly. The table splits in the middle to allow insertion of up to 3 additional leaves. The table also has 2 drop leaves. That's 7 pads. All fit perfectly. I have used them on the table for family parties (not every day) and they're durable and built to last. I keep them in the box they arrived in to protect them when not in use. These are a worthwhile investment."
