"We hired Mike to work on some of our ceilings - he removed tiled squares and put in drywall, smoothed out an old plaster ceiling and did patch work on another. We felt that he was honest, reasonable and personable! The thing we liked most about Mike was that he provided his insight, but was still willing to try the project we had in mind even though there were many unknowns. Our project did not work out as we did encounter some structural limitations - he kindly backtracked and finish off the work with clean smooth results. I graduated from Maine Maritime Academy and currently do have a day job but am looking for some side jobs for extra money. I built an addition on my house and found that I have quite a bit of talent in all areas of a house. I’ve installed my own heat pumps in my home, I’ve poured slabs, did all of the plumbing, electrical, insulation, drywall, flooring, trimming, doors etc. I learned a great deal and would like to put that knowledge to use.

"Art was able to quickly come to my condo to look at the job. Right away he made sure to take a lot of measurements and notes. His quote was the most reasonable one I received. The work was completed quickly and thoroughly, and Art was communicative and responsive throughout, even on weekends. The work looks beautiful but I can't speak to the quality just yet because I haven't started painting etc, but I do not anticipate there being any issues. He was also able to complete extra drywalling on the fly that I found in the middle of the project, for a reasonable price as well.
