Exterior: They began by prepping the car. This consisted of removal of all bug, bird and other residue that typically builds on your car between cleanings. Next they did the wheels and wheel wells, certainly to a level I would typically not think of doing. The rest of the cleaning process took on a very systematic approach. After the car was washed they proceed to ?clay bar? the car. For those who are unfamiliar with ?clay bar?, it?s a deep cleaning product that removes road grim, grit and other particles that become embedded in the ?clear coat? of your cars paint and detracts from the shine and overall appearance. It?s those particles that you can actually feel when you run your fingers over even a clean car that makes it feel a bit rough to the touch. Important note; ?Clay bar? done incorrectly can do more harm than good; you can ruin your paint job; but when done properly restores a finish to showroom condition, possibly better. Now that they had the car completely clean, came time for the finishing process. The polishing and use of the multiple buffing and polishing tools again were done to perfection. (Note: I may be able to buy similar tools as well, but may not necessarily know or learn how to use them properly or with the precision as a professional detailer.) Interior: Rich used an air system to blow out the dirt and sand in the floor and trunk mats that does a superior job at removing debris. But his use goes above and beyond to do even more. By using a special attachment to the air gun, Rich was able to restore the texture and appearance to the floor mats to an almost new state. The interior was spotless. He offered to treat the windshield for a small up-charge, which I was happy to agree to, with a product that is designed to last up to 6 months, longer than some other well-known rain repellant products. The Result: The car looks spectacular! It truly looks better than the day I received it from the dealer - Period! Observation: I think of myself as a ?car guy?. I am pretty critical of my car?s appearance. Typically not even a dealer goes to the level of detail as Details Matter LLC does to bring out the beauty of your car. Their service can prolong and enhance the appearance of any car. Your car is typically a major investment so why not show it off. It took a while to actually get him here... Parts were damaged in shipping and some other scheduling conflicts but eventually he was able to make it. Joe was a really nice guy and it was obvious that he had a good deal of experience and knew what we was doing. He explained the service history of our particular model, replaced the 2 parts that control the defrosting of the coils, showed me the old parts and explained why they weren't doing the job any more. He has a good sense of humor and and we chatted while he worked. All in all it was a very pleasant experience. He will actually be coming back again as 2 of the support posts that hold one of the trays in place broke a long time ago and super glue only succeeded in gluing my fingers together. He also told us the history of THAT problem and even had one of those parts in stock (but we needed 2 of them). As I understand it, Joe also has a storefront in Waterboro where he sells refurbished appliances so I told him that with the cost of new appliances these days, I will check with him before I buy anything new again !! "I was a loyal customer for 3 years, even after a rather inexcusable experience. Jonathan was the initial technician to start our first few services. He was extremely professional, thorough, & effective. We only saw him a handful of times after that, unfortunately. All of our pest issues that Green Pest Defense treated were previously resolved by proper outdoor applications. But at one point after sporadic ant issues, the company insisted on coming inside the house. Although the technician came across as knowledgeable, he was extremely aloof as to his application of ant gel bait/pesticide. I spent an hour cleaning up after he left. I was dumbfounded to find gobs of gel out in the open, everywhere. The most puzzling to me was the blob right next to my kitchen sink on my butcher block counter top (photos below). There were large blobs left all over my wood floors in areas that my grandchildren and pets could easily reach. That incident was well over a year ago and I am still finding dried, too hard to remove, beading that he placed under my upper cabinetry. After this experience, I wrote a very kind email to the company regarding my experience as I thought it worth mentioning for a few good reasons. The response I got was more of a “thanks for bringing this to our attention” and no apology. From then on I would request only outside applications- as those had worked just fine before when performed properly. Often I was not at home when the service technicians were scheduled to come. Because of this, I would email the company ahead of my service with specifics that were worth noting and information that would help save us all time & potential unresolved issues. A few times I would request rescheduling as heavy rains were in the forecast and I didn’t want to pay (for tick spray as an example) just to have it washed away. I realize they try to keep abreast of the weather situation too, but I’ve always been proactive to avoid potential situations and it tends to work out better if I do so. In the last year, we built a small play area onto our back deck for our toddler grandchildren. I know the products the company uses are supposedly safe when dry but I prefer no pesticides to be applied directly in the children’s play area. I thought it would be helpful to put signs up showing “no spray” in the areas I didn’t want treated. It would’ve been just as easy to treat under the deck as opposed to on the deck if the technician felt that portion of the house absolutely needed it to be, in order to be an effective visit. I also pointed out where we saw the ant trails and requested plenty of ant gel to be applied as we had a large amount of ants this season. Even so, I still had to do some of my own pesticide control. I let the company know that in the past, it took 2 visits with ample and strategic gel applications to rid the ants. They wanted to come in the house again and I reminded them of what happened the last time their technician came in, & unless they could send Jonathan, I wasn’t keen on it. They couldn’t send Jonathan, evidently. I understand they assign territories- but it is hard starting off service with a great technician like Jonathan, then dealing with blobs of pesticides on my kitchen counter with another technician. Most recently, I was lucky enough to have endangered monarch caterpillars taking up residence in a small area of my flower gardens. So I had put up 2 signs, one on each end of the area, signifying “no spray” between the 2 signs. I always signed it with a “thank you”. Evidently I was asking too much as I received an email the next day notifying me that my contract was canceled referring to the signs I’ve left in the past. I’ve read some other reviews that people have left saying how this company was really good about not spraying kids’ areas per request- so I’m not sure why my signs with my requests were too much to ask. I was trying to avoid confusion by leaving the signs which were easy to understand-in lieu of my not being at home to explain. I do think that with my location being on the outer borderline of their service area, along with my requesting service in between regularly scheduled quarterly services, that they’ve been waiting for an opportunity to drop me, regardless of what their response here will be. Bottom line is I’m costing them more than they’re getting from me. I tried explaining everything in detailed emails to avoid repeat services but one of their technicians used minimal amounts of product and effort in ridding the pests to begin with- causing the repeat visits. Not to mention that some pests will require repeat visits regardless. I have cameras all over the property so even with my not being home, I saw what was/was not being done. It’s a shame to be treated like this as I’ve been a faithful customer and very considerate. But often as a company grows, it will do things of this nature. I’ll be hiring a company with a better understanding of integrated pest management, more thorough training for the techs that need it, and more understanding and tolerant of small requests."

FAQs for bird control service projects in Norway, ME
Different pest control methods exist to help mitigate an infestation. Not every technique will work with every pest, which is why speaking with a pest control expert is crucial to taming your problem. Different methods of pest removal include:
The cost of pest control is $175 for the average homeowner. However, you could spend as little as $100 or as much as $500 or more, depending on the infestation size, the number of visits you need, and the pest you’re exterminating.
For example, if you need to rid your home of spiders, you’ll likely be spending between $100 and $300. However, if you have a termite problem, you can expect a bill of $230 to $2,500 or more, depending on the infestation size and damage caused.
Animal removal specialists specialize in removing critters and wildlife from in and around your home. These include:
Bats
Birds
Groundhogs
Moles and voles
Opossums
Mice and rats
Raccoons
Skunks
Squirrels
The specialist's method to remove these critters will depend on the animal. For example, groundhogs will be live-trapped and relocated, whereas, for birds, the expert will remove and discard the inactive nest and sanitize the area.
Professional animal removal costs between $200 and $600 for average homeowners. However, depending on the type and number of critters removed, this cost could range from $85 to $1,400.
This cost does not include the cost of home damage caused by the animal, which could be as low as $300 for minor drywall repair or as much as $15,000 for crawl space cleaning and restoration.
Even if you’re not immediately showing signs of pests, it’s a good idea to get into the habit of routine pest control. This should be done yearly, quarterly, bi-monthly, or monthly, depending on your location and if any signs of infestation are already present. For example, if you live by water, you might experience more pests in the spring and summer than someone who lives in a dry climate. Discuss treatment options with your pest professional to determine a suitable schedule for you and your home.
