"Repair Clinic sent me a water intake valve that had some scuff marks and an unnecessary fixture (which I thought nothing of, assuming it had been removed from a new dishwasher). When the part did not fix my dishwasher's issue, I ordered a circulation pump, which also failed to fix the issue, so I decided to return both parts. Repair Clinic blamed me for the scuff marks and extra fixture, which is unacceptable. They referenced their return policy which states that parts which have been installed cannot be returned, and denied me any form of refund. For all I know, the water intake valve was defective, and I have no recourse. Don't put any stock in the "No-Hassle 365-Day Returns" they proudly tout on their homepage. Instead, expect finger-pointing and uncaring dismissal. You are better off with one of their many competitors."

Yes, continuing to flush a clogged toilet is not likely to break up the clog. Instead, it will continue to put pressure on the clog while filling the bowl with more water, which can potentially cause the toilet to overflow—leading to an even bigger mess. Rather than repeatedly flushing, use a toilet plunger or plumber’s snake to dislodge the clog.

Problems with a damaged handle or valve cartridge can result in a leaking faucet that won’t turn off completely. The faucet may also be rusty or corroded, which can prevent the faucet from turning the water off all the way. A leaky faucet can cause issues beyond the annoying dripping sound.
