"I needed entry points sealed up on my exterior perimeter of my house. To stop water and pest (squirrels). The job was done and no more issues exist. I waited for 4 months to give this review to make sure 😊 it was accurate. They came fast and completed the job fast."

"Brian and his crew, they are amazing!! They cleared my dad’s basement, showed up on time, knocked the job out in a timely manner. Professional and reliable, I definitely recommend them to do whatever you need. The list of what they actually do isn’t accurate at all, they do so much more. Stevie Jr."

Holiday Decorating questions, answered by experts

The easiest way to hang Christmas lights on your roof is to attach them to your gutters, but there are plenty of user-friendly methods to try. You can use light clips to easily hook Christmas lights to your shingles, eaves, gutters, or soffit. However, using a telescoping pole is a surefire way to ensure your safety while hanging Christmas lights because it doesn’t require using a ladder or climbing onto the roof.

The average cost to have a professional install Christmas lights on a roof is about $420, with most homeowners spending between $220 and $650. Some companies may charge between $1.25 and $3 per square foot, excluding the cost of the lights. For extensive or complex jobs, the cost can exceed $1,000. While doing it yourself can save money, it is only recommended if you are comfortable working at heights.

To hang Christmas lights outside without nails, consider using alternatives like adhesive hooks, gutter clips, or even hot glue. These options allow you to secure lights to various surfaces without causing damage to your roof or siding. Be sure to clean and prepare the surface before applying these alternatives for better adhesion.

Yes, tackling blown fuses and broken light bulbs is definitely safe. Fixing the wiring on a strand of Christmas lights isn’t a good idea, though, because of the danger of shock and fire. However, if you don’t feel comfortable working with any type of electricity, consider hiring a professional Christmas light installer to manage the job safely and efficiently.

Yes, you can try removing and replacing each individual light bulb one at a time until you find the problem bulb—just be prepared for it to take a while. The bulb tester is worth the investment if you don’t have a lot of extra time to spare or need to test several strands of lights.
