"My septic tank was over flowing. The drain pipe was obstructed. I call my normal guy on Thursday no response. Friday came and went. Saturday, still no response. Went to Home Advisor and with in an hour Innovative called and gave me a time they would be there. They pumped the tank and cleared the drain pipe. I was expecting a major expense but they were just fifty dollars more than the regular guy - who still has not responded to voice messages left on his emergency number. I appreciated the quick response, the complete job, and a reasonable price. I will be using the company going forward. Exceptional customer service."

"Mariano (spelled phonetically) contacted me right away. He diagnosed my issue over the phone and quoted a price. We scheduled a time for him to come out same day, arrived before appointment time, and removed/installed new sump pump (we purchased the sump pump before his arrival). He completed the work in the same day in a timely fashion and we paid as quoted. Thank you."

"Mr Washington personally examined my old concrete driveway, measured its size, calculated the price estimate based on the square foot area of the project, and provided a senior discount. He described the work in detail. He answered questions by email. He came with two workers on schedule to break up the old concrete driveway and haul away the pieces. The next day the same group graded the base of the driveway, placed a wood frame around the edge of the driveway, and directed the concrete pour from a sub-contractor's cement mixer truck, The first three workers spread the concrete while a fourth worker flattened the concrete to the top of the frame. The surface of the concrete became level near the garage and had a gentle slope to the bottom of the driveway. The next day, Washington Boyz cleaned up to lawn, removed the wood frame, and put down some topsoil and grass seeds next to the new concrete. Since the sub-contractor cement mixer operator dumped some excess cargo on the lawn after the cement was poured for the driveway, Washington Boyz had to break up the dried concrete from the lawn and clean up the pieces. Before they left, I was told not to use the new driveway for at least one more day to let the concrete cure and they put yellow tape over the bottom of the driveway to keep the driveway from being used. The final price was the same as the estimate and I was very pleased with the work that was done."

Septic Tanks questions, answered by experts

While mound septic systems can provide cost-effective wastewater treatment in many instances, they do come at a significant initial installation cost and require a lot of space on your property for the mound and its replacement field. The installation cost is so high because this is a project that requires an exceptional level of skills and expertise to execute properly.

If you’re going away on vacation or leaving your home for a long time, it’s a good idea to switch off your well pump and pressure tank before you go. This way you can prevent any damage from unexpected leaks that may occur or unforeseen electrical issues while you’re away.

A septic system inspection costs $100 to $200. Doing so can spot issues early so you can plan for necessary repairs ahead of time and save yourself the issue of a backed-up septic tank. Some septic tank repair professionals do an inspection as part of their yearly maintenance on your septic tank if you choose to pay for that service, but you should shoot to have a septic system inspection completed at least once every two to five years.

An outdoor water valve typically has a round or oval handle that you can turn to control the water flow. It may be located in a protective box or pit near the property line, where the main water line connects to your house.

While dry wells can be effective for managing rainwater, they have several disadvantages. They can become clogged with sediment, especially after large storms, which reduces their effectiveness and can be difficult to clean. Dry wells are also not suitable for all soil types; they will not function properly in soil with low permeability. Additionally, if a dry well is not large enough to handle the amount of rainfall in your area, it can overflow. For gravity-flow models, the water may disperse very slowly, depending on the well's depth and the soil's permeability.
