"I needed the front of my townhouse painted, to include (6) shutters, a bay window above the garage door, the front door behind the storm door to include all caulking around the trim. While on the ANGI app, I requested a pro for a estimate and was promptly contacted by WILBER’s PAINTING, L.L.C. Wilber suggested a estimate date that met both of our needs and was “on-time” on the agreed date. The work was scheduled and the job was started within 5 days. The day before the scheduled start date, a two man crew arrived and power washed the front of the house. On the next morning, Wilber along with his skilled crew arrived promptly and completed the job within 8 hours. Wilber, met with his crew to verify all aspects of the job and to insure no miscommunications. All debris and, or trash was picked up when painting was completed and his workers went the extra step to include blowing off the area around the porch and driveway. I highly recommend Wilber’s Painting L.L.C. And will not hesitate to use him in the future for any and all interior/exterior painting jobs. "We recently quoted out the painting of our front hallway (includes vaulted ceiling) to 4 different vendors. We chose Perfect Painters because they offered the same level of service (and paint quality) as the other three, but were the most competitively priced (two of the other vendors over-quoted us for a very straightforward project - walls were in great shape: it was just a refresh paint job on the upper walls above the chair rails and molding. One was $1,100 more expensive than Perfect Painters!). When I told these vendors that they had lost the bid due to pricing, both suggested that they were "very comfortable" with the prices they quoted us and suggested that we might be getting a lower quality job from Perfect Painters. I can assure you that was not the case - the team arrived on time and quickly got to work covering the area in tape and plastic. The team of three expanded to 4 or 5 in the afternoon to complete the job in about 6 hours (2 coats on walls, ceiling and crown molding). They did an excellent job and left the space as they found it. I have no hesitation in recommending them and will use them again for my next painting job. Beware of other vendors out there who will jack up the price and try to justify it by suggesting that the job is complicated by elevation (the ceiling is about 19 feet high at the highest point - its called a ladder!, or the fact that they have to tape the banister!) Next time, I won't waste my time and simply have Perfect Painters do the job for me. They are honest and straightforward and the crew who did the job were very friendly and efficient."

"The company did an excellent job scheduling a date for my exterior house painting and they also worked with me to resolve an issue I had with the project's final cost. The office staff is very professional and pleasant. I might have given a higher rating, but my experience with the crew was not what I had expected given the great reviews I read from other customers. I was disappointed with the crew that was sent to paint my house. They arrived about an hour late. I was able to communicate with only one person on the crew as the other members did not speak english. The only english-speaking member left the job for several hours to pick up composite sheets to replace wood panels. During this time I noticed that the painters did not place drop cloths on my deck or on two lower roofs. As a result, paint was dripping onto my deck and the lower roofs. I had to search for a foreign language translation app on my cell phone so I could communicate with the crew to tell them to use drop cloths as well as to explain a few other issues and concerns. Frustrated, I contacted Chesapeake Painting to complain and a manger was sent to my home. The manager arrived about the same time the crew member returned from picking up the composite. The manager apologized to me about the problems and he spoke with the crew member about my concerns and the painting job in general. After the job was complete, the next day I noticed areas that needed more paint and the company came back to apply more paint. However, a couple of days later, I noticed the same area still needed more paint or sanding. There were also areas where I eventually noticed where the work detail could be better. In fairness, I didn't call the company back to resolve as I just wanted to move on. The overall paint job was good. Would I hire Chesapeake Painting again? I'm not certain. Maybe this crew had a bad day at the office as we all sometimes do. But if I decide to hire the company again to paint the interior of my home, I would need a different crew or the crew(s) that received the excellent work reviews."

"Rudy painted the entire exterior of my home, including the roof. The roof is standing-seam metal on a steep 8/12 pitch. I searched for six months for a contractor who could and would do the whole job. Everyone wanted to do the wood siding, porches, window and door of a 3800 square foot house, a sizable job. No one, including roofers wanted to do the roof. Rudy agreed to do it all at a reasonable price, and to do it the way I specified, I spent over 25 years as an active, developer, renovator, and builder in Washington DC. In order to paint the roof he had to apply a rust-eating primer, 2 coats within 20 minutes just to prepare the roof. The entire job was completed on time and to my complete satisfaction, I was so pleased that I had him paint my 2-story garage, and coat my rear deck. Rudy has since done excellent work on other jobs for me including: - Painted the exterior and the roof of a 2-story townhouse on Capitol Hill. - Painted the exterior window and door trim and concrete lintels of another 2-story townhouse, while carefully cutting in all the work around the natural brick fade.
