James did work on our double back deck, which consisted of upper deck top banister replacement, floor board & partial banister replacement on lower deck, and power washing & repainting of both decks. His attention to detail and work ethic were complimented by his positive attitude. He kept us informed on progress of each step done and answered any questions we had. All went very well and we are very happy with the results! We would hire JZ Construction again for future projects!"

After reaching out to several contractors, we chose Blue Crab Home Solutions based on their assessment of the project and their pricing. I was scheduled within a month. Alex and the team were great. They removed the old decking and steps in one day, then replaced the decking, stair stringers, and step decking over the next two days. The vinyl handrails were left intact because they were still in good condition. While replacing them would have been easier, working around the existing handrails required additional customization and skill, which Blue Crab handled without any issues. Once the job was completed, Blue Crab provided a week for us to review the work and returned to address a few minor items. The project manager and office manager of Deck Soldier answered all of my questions, but could have done a better job communicating on their own initiative what the crew was planning to do the next day when they left for the day while the job was in progress. All in all, though, we're very pleased with the new deck and I would Deck Soldier an A grade for the job. It was expensive, but you get what you pay for and I would recommend them"
