"The entire project took approximately 4 weeks. Sheldon & Sons was on site every day.  Sam supervised the painting crew. He was very thorough, detail oriented and a pleasure to work with. They cleaned up the job site at the end of each day. Scott Sheldon was always available with any questions we had about the work. He backed their work with a 3 year warranty for cracking & peeling paint.
We would recommend Sheldon & Son Inc. We would not hesitate to use them for future projects.

"They provided an estimate very quickly and were able to offer us a date to begin within a week.  They painted our entire house (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and cabinets, dining room, 2-story living room, hallways, stairway, and office nook) in just two days.  They arrived on time (between 6:45 -7:00 am and worked the entire day for both days.  They were careful about moving furniture and other items out of the way, and then back again.  They covered everything and protected our hardwood floors and furniture.  They were polite, professional, and courteous, every single person.  They used the exact colors we asked for, provided 2-3 coats, as necessary, and even removed some very old wallpaper in one room that had been painted over by previous owners. Great workers, excellent professionals, and amazing job!

"I hired Tony Touch to paint and carpet the first floor of my house. How did it go? Absolutely GREAT.!!!
The price was right.  Anthony and his crew are professional yet friendly as well as on point  and on time.
The work they did was perfect.  I sent pictures to my friends and they responded with comments like wow and awesome.  Would I hire them again? OH YES! in fact they are coming tomorrow to paint the exterior of the house.

"We started our search by looking on Angiest List. We spoke with three contractors prior to meeting with Mega Kitchen & Bath. Mega had  great reviews and we felt the most comfortable with and we couldn?t be happier with the results.
We met with Ibrahim a few times prior to demo.In these meetings we discussed our likes/ disliked about the kitchen, the location of
the sink, stove and cabinets and what we had hoped to gain from the remodel.
Demo:
We needed a complete kitchen remodel, which included demoing a very outdated cabinets, top, sink and floor and removing previously installed wallpaper. The demo went very well and we felt very comfortable with Leon doing most of the demo.
Remodel :
The remodel process went as smoothly as we could imagine. The only hold up we had was due to delays in appliances , backsplash.  Ibrahim was available to answer questions/concerns throughout every step we definitely valued his opinion
throughout the process. Leon did a great job and was very detail oriented.
Finished :
We love our kitchen and would definitely use Mega Kitchen & again !
(We?ve had two questions since the remodel was finished
(disposal , grout questions). Both of these concerns were addressed immediately within 2 days.

"The owner, Gordon Cleveland, is a delight. He was very easy to work with and my German Shepherd adored him. In addition to the incredible amount of painting he did, he would also help me with moving furniture in some rooms and just about anything where I needed help. He removed some difficult wallpaper and patched lots of holes where we removed an old alarm system. He even rented a power washer for me and spent a day cleaning up my sidewalks and patios. He is incredibly flexible and worked around my hours; sometimes going to another job at night after working in my house all day. I love his old world work ethic."

"Mr. Rodriguez showed up exactly on time both times and they worked very hard while they were here. They covered my new wood floors with tarps and protected my living space. They were courteous and kind. The crew were very nice to me and went beyond the call of duty, I felt. The finished products were done professionally and perfectly. The wall that had to be rebuilt looks like it has always been there - just now it has a big cabinet and towel racks. All three bathrooms were professionally painted with no spatter and clean lines. They all have sufficient area to hang hand towels and bath towels.I worked in the house while they were here and they were very professional. All-in-all, this was a great experience and I would highly recommend this company."

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

The color of the paint, its opacity, and the depth of the texture on the paper all affect how many coats of paint you need to apply to paintable wallpaper. You'll need at least two coats of paint to ensure even coverage. Don’t be surprised if you need to apply three coats if the embossing is very deep or if you use a dark color.

You should be aware of the current wallpaper and interior trends before hanging it, especially if you are planning on selling or listing your home soon. Do people in your market tend to prefer bold designs and accent walls, or does having a simpler print all over seem like a better idea? Lastly, you want something that appeals to your aesthetic preferences; hanging wallpaper is an investment of your time and money after all.

Both paint and wallpaper can work in a bathroom, provided you choose high-quality products in either category. Washable vinyl wallpapers can stand up to bathroom humidity without peeling, as can semi-gloss or gloss paint finishes. However, if you’re someone who likes to redecorate often, paint may make it easier to change colors or designs more quickly. If you want full humidity protection and cleanability, tile or stone works better.

It’s possible to hang your own wallpaper, but the process is tedious and potentially frustrating, and it can be challenging to get seams to line up and look clean and professional. Plus, depending on the type of wallpaper you’re installing, using too much or too little adhesive could cause damage to your drywall or plaster, peeling, and bubbling in the final product. It’s usually a better idea to hire a professional wallpaper installer to do the work for you, as the relatively low cost is justifiable, if only to avoid damage to your walls.

Yes, peel-and-stick wallpaper is available that’s made from vinyl—it actually is the most common material used in peel-and-stick wallpaper. Learning how to install vinyl wallpaper is far easier when you’re using a peel-and-stick design than with adhesive. You could also select peel-and-stick wallpaper that consists of paper, polyester, or natural fibers.
