The project entailed wallpaper removal from 2.5 bathrooms and kitchen, repainting those rooms; installing a tile backsplash and vinyl tile floor in the kitchen; replacing the kitchen countertop; repairing a cabinet; repairing drywall and painting the ceiling in the master bedroom. "My deal was for 3 hours removal of wallpaper. That was all I needed done. However, George arrived thinking he was there to provide an estimate and given a substantial language barrier we were never able to get our expectations lined up. As a result, George attempted to do more than what I wanted, despite my requests to only remove wallpaper, and at the end he tried to charge me $120 to spackle and sand literally four nail holes. He also charged me an additional $91 for the extra hour of work (some of which was because he did the unnecessary spackling/sanding). I refused to pay the $120; I did pay the extra $91 so $200 for 4 hours worth of wallpaper work, which is OK, but the communication difficulties and over-billing made for an overall unpleasant experience."
